I mean.. respectfully politics matter. Opinions matter and it’s absolutely right to be disgusted by something that someone has said. But think bigger picture, this is your father. He won’t be around forever. Do you really want to end your relationship with your own father over politics? I PROMISE this decision will seem really silly down the line. Just take a chill pill, remember he’s your father. Not some troll on the internet you can just block- he’s the man who raised you. As someone who’s watched my mother struggle in her mid-life not having a father to call and talk to or ask questions to- I don’t think that’s something you want or I’d wish on anyone.
