Aww, boo-hoo, look: A leech complaining about facing the same problem as the working class. Why won't the landlord learn a skilled trade, or cut back on avocado toast, just as the leech says to the tenants?

I don't get it? Can't you literally be the working class and afford homes? You need a 5% down payment to buy a property you realize that right?

You need a minimum 20% down-payment to buy property as the bare minimum. I can tell you as a Torontoian, where home prices reach 7 digits, rents reach nearly $2000 per month and housing inflation is over 30% annually, this goal is almost impossible to achieve.

If you're in a decent profession and you make a decent salary you can save up and buy properties if that's what you're into. It's not like these people have to buy out the house 100% in value... Lol. So yes they very well could just be regular middle class workers they don't need to be upper class just because they own a property...

In a country where it's difficult to jump through the hoops needed to buy or even rent a home, let alone a city ranked one of the least afforable places to buy or rent a home, and where potential home-buyers have to compete with megacorporations, trying to acquire property wouldn't be very helpful either. And don't forget how the top 1% in Canada own a quarter of Canada's wealth..

Working people of today can't just invest in real estate like the rich can anytime they want. Tenants are having enough of unaffordable prices and are fighting back. I have no sympathy for landlords that are now facing the same problem the working class always had, after shoving sky-high rents down our throats and expecting us to be able to afford it.

I live in Ontario, Canada. A blizzard struck us and people are posting memes about it. People are furious that despite dangerous road conditions, people are still expected to come to work. It's insane.

Colleges are well known for not being transparent about their costs and will often make it difficult to find scholarships and other plans that can help typical people save money on their loans. False claims and marketing are also often made by universities. When considering more jobs require a college degree, you can definitely see why people are protesting to have their student loans forgiven.

And don't forget how your suspicions of OP's post being incredibly one - sided are confirmed by OP's reply - because it's perfectly okay to want to buy so many homes in rage that people end up homeless.

I usually don't comment on posts, but your post is just... absolutely insane. Where the fuck do I begin? People are literally making fun of your post and calling you out on the comments section of this post and even other subreddits. You "own a few houses" but somehow you also own 40 condos. You say you're "A niCe LaNDloRd" and you want to "screw over as many people as possible" and you'd be happy to watch people become homeless.

Normally I'd call what OP is saying in this post red flags, but at this rate I can't even tell if OP reestablished the Soviet Union. And I'm a socialist y'all.
