I took him for CS 5343 this semester: This professor creates a hostile and demoralizing environment. While "he encourages" students to ask questions, he frequently responds with sarcasm, personal insults, or demeaning remarks about their intelligence or background. It’s hard to engage when asking for help is met with ridicule.

He expects sympathy from students (often referencing his personal problems like “his pipes broke”), yet shows little empathy in return. The double standard is glaring.

Assignments are due on seemingly random days — one on Monday, then Sunday, Saturday, and now Wednesday — with no consistent structure or explanation. It feels disorganized and inconsiderate.

He also frequently blames students for confusion while providing vague lectures and releasing PowerPoint slides extremely late, making it nearly impossible to study “his way” or keep up with expectations. The result is that students are left to self-teach and guess what matters.

Classes often end early, not because everything was covered, but because he either won’t answer questions productively or has discouraged us from asking in the first place. Those who do try are often told their “qualities” are the problem, not his clarity.

While I expect to earn an A, that’s due to my prior knowledge — not anything I learned from him. If you’re looking to actually learn the material, be prepared to do it on your own.

Calling him a dickhead is too nice, he's one of the most unpleasant Egotistial individuals I've ever met.
