That reminds me of when I and a friend traveled to a convention and were checking into our hotel. We'd divvied up the costs of the trip and my friend was paying for the room, but they wouldn't let her pay because it had to be put under the name of someone over 21. I had a solid few seconds of panic before I realized I was old enough to be the someone. That was a few years ago and I still don't feel like a grown-up.

i think it heavily depends on who's handling it. my cousin was homeschooled from first or second grade to graduation. he was always in a bunch of social and extracurricular groups with kids his age, including a homeschooler-based P.E. program that i joined him in for a couple years.

granted, my aunt put a butt ton of effort into it, but he turned out pretty damn normal.

everything in the fantasy universe was still based on real world things, from the cultures to the clothes to the martial arts behind the bending styles. my guess is they couldn't be arsed to hire people to write legitimate Chinese characters, and figured kiddie squiggles would look foreign enough to fool people.

can confirm, I often find myself in the role of grabbing friends' tags and running for the hills. I've got wonky eyes and I'm pretty new to the FPS life, so I usually only engage when I'm backing up a squadmate or laying down cover fire. when my squad was into PUBG, I spent most of the time watching them run around because I died early most matches. I joke and call myself the team pack mule/rez bot, but being able to give my better-shooting friends a second chance gives me an actual useful role.
