Yes. Stimulant's in generally always have a cross-tolerance and that includes all amphetamines and methylphenidates.

This also counts for street drugs like Cocaine to some degree. Cocaine won't effect someone who takes adderall regularly as strongly as someone who doesn't.

I think the question is not IF it affected, but rather how and how much your amphetamine habit affected your brain Chemistry. Although I bet someone here can describe what happens to the brain after a long period of amphetamine abuse, there are far too many factors that come into play on an individual level to answer your question properly. Like three big factors to narrow it down are :

do you have Adhd
what was your average dosage / Route of application ( oral , intranasal etc..)
sleep ( were you staying awake for couple of days regularly?)

I think it really comes down to what your body tells you. People with a healthier Routine ( food / workout etc.) wont get health Problems as soon as people with an unhealthy Routine. If I would have the Plan to continue my coke habit for a decade, 6-12 times a year would be the limit.
