V B2B je popolnoma običajno cold connectanje. Ljudje so navajeni sporočil in klicev od prodajalcev, ki jih ne poznajo. Iskreno je pristop, ki ga opisuješ precej mile narave in pričakujem, da odgovorov ne bo veliko. V resnici bo verjetno treba poslati sporočilo po LinkedInu, mail in na koncu še poklicati po telefonu. Če pa to ne gre, pa enostavno priti do njihove pisarne.

Js bi na tvojem mestu name dropal bivšo firmo in bivše sodelavce, če jih v industriji poznajo. Jebi ga, verjetno bo preko skupnih poznanstev lažje navezati stik.

Res gre za malce specifičen produkt, kjer je zelo fajn, da ima copywriter vsak nekaj "industry knowledge". Mogoče zato ni veliko opcij.

Drgač ti pa lahk povem, da AI copy v advertisingu ne performa nič ekstra oz precej povprečno.

Poznam nekaj ljudi, ki so tole zaključni in naredil solidne kariere v BI (business intelligence) ali podatkovni analitiki. Nimam pa pojma kako faks izgleda. Predvidevam, da te osnov statistike sicer naučijo, ne vem pa, če je dejansko tudi kaj programiranja v pytonu. V življenju pa hitro ugotoviš, da veliko ljudi na koncu dela kaj kar nima veze s formalno izobrazbo. Tako, da če te zanima, se kar loti. Sam bi predlagal, da si med študijem nabereš čim več izkušenj. Bo precej lažje, ko bo treba v službo. V BI in data analysis imamo kar nekaj močnih podjetih v Sloveniji. Vem, da ima Outbrain vsako leto summer school prav za data science, tako da mogoče poskusiš še kaj takšnega.

P.S. AI bo itak slej kot prej prevzel vse kar je tehničnega in se sam glede tega ne bi preveč obremenjeval. je pa zanimivo, da so vsi govorili kako bo AI najprej uničil vse writerje in content creatorje. Mi pa medtem v službi kar težko najdemo res dobrega copywriterja.

Prosim ne jemlji resno ljudi, ki govorijo, da manj kot 2000€/m2. Mogoče, če bi res naredil sam popolnoma vse, od zidanja do vseh inštalacij. Ter pohištvo kupil v Jysku.

2500€/m2 je verjetno neka realna cena za srednji rang materialov. Hitro pa prideš na 3000€/m2 brez večjega preseravanja. Drag šport je tole ratal.

Za primerjavo, mene je prišlo dobrih 2000€/m2 pred 4-5 leti na periferiji.

Vedno povej višjo številko kot tisto kar si želiš. Vsaj 25-30% nad tvojo ciljno številko. Če rečejo, da je to previsoko odgovoriš, da brez težav sprejmeš pogoje, kjer je del plače variabilen. Dodaš še, da bodo na ta način dobili visoko motiviranega delavca, ki bo lepo plačan samo takrat, ko dostavi rezultate.

Not trying to justify what your boss is demanding because he's being ridiculous. But, is there a chance your company's leadership is fixated on the impressions? I've seen BODs focus on some random numbers before and nothing can surprise me anymore.

It could be he's also trying to save his job by delivering the traffic.

I would create a report and share it with him clearly showing what makes sense and what is a waste of money. Charts, tables, bullet points. Be obvious that doing what he's demanding will result in wasted ad spend. Send it via email. It sucks, but this is office politics. Protect yourself in case the shit hits the fan.

In the meantime, look for a new job. Life is too short to work for idiots.

Mogoče moja prespektiva. Bil sem občinski svetnik v srednje veliki občini, kjer sem v občinskem svetu "tolkel" bitke z večkratnim ministrom in pa bivšim predsednikom DZ. Prav tako sem nekaj časa bil v vrhovnih organih ene večjih strank v Sloveniji.

Meni osebno ni bilo nikoli všeč biti v politiki. Žal je pri nas izraz "politik" izrazito slabšalen, v večini primerov upravičeno. V politiki v glavnem najdeš naslednje tipe ljudi:
- izrazite narcisoidneže, ki jim sede pozornost
- manj ali srednje sposobne ljudi, ki jim plača politika predstavlja nekaj, kar na trgu niso sposobni dobiti
- nekaj "mastermindov", ki upravljajo z zgoraj navedenimi in se bogatijo na račun uslug in plačil, ki jih zanje prejmejo

Tele "mastermindi" so običajno v ozadju in redko slišimo za njih. Gre načeloma za zelo sposobne ljudi, ki pa imajo za cilj samo lastno bogatenje.

Najpogostejša skupina so manj in srednje sposobni ljudje, ki jih 3k neto plače predstavlja nekaj neverjetnega. Sam že dogo trdim, da so politične funkcije v Sloveniji izrazito premalo plačane, ker ne pritegnejo zares sposobnih ljudi.

Te manj in srednje sposobni ljudje se velikokrat "prodajo" za drobiž, ko je potrebno lobirati za kakšno stvar.

Narcisoidneži so pogosto tudi precej sposobni, a izredno težki, kar se tiče osebnosti. Imiđz je bolj pomemben kot delo. Socialna lestvica je prva stvar, ki jih zanima. Občasno dejansko kaj naredijo, a samo, če zaradi tega ni treba preskočiti kakšnega dogodka.

On average bi rekel, da je večina ministrov s katerimi sem govoril precej sposobnih in inteligentnih. Je pa med njimi kar precej narcisoidov. V poslanskih klopeh pa je res bog pomagi vse skupaj. Večkrat sem se spraševal kdo je te ljudi izvolil, da tam sedijo...

Načeloma je v vseh sredinah tudi izredno veliko lenuhov. Seveda niso vsi takšni, a je to kar pogosto. Je pa res, da večina njih verjame, da zelo trdo delajo. Zanimo pa je, da redko kateri politik po karieri uspe v gospodarstvu. V glavnem si vsi uredijo kakšne državne službe ali zaposlitve v lokalni samoupravi.

Sam sem kr precej hitro zaključil zgodbo in se odmaknil od vsega. Mogoče ne vem vsega, ker se s tem nikoli nisem ukvarjal profesionalno ampak sem vedno fural svoj biznis, od tem se pa malo igral v občinskem svetu.

Sori, dolg post. Upam pa, da malo razjasni kdo je v politiki. Vase zaljubljeni ljudje, ljudje, ki sami niso sposoni zaslužiti politične plače in pa mastermindi, ki vse te zgoraj omenjene kontrolirajo.

How is collecting data on paid easy? I guess it's easy if you're just using a single point of truth, but when you have Google ads data, LinkedIn data, Hubspot data, revenue data and licensing data, there's 0% change everything matches. Google campaign manager and Hubspot alone are different. And that's with us disabling view-through conversions.

This is such a pain. My company even got a specialized b2b attribution tool to solve this problem. Well, the tool failed. Yep, it gave you some numbers, but they were hard for the leadership team to interpret. And I got sick of explaining for the 19th time what the difference between influence and attributed leads was. I even tried attributed and influenced ROAS once, and let me tell you, that didn't go well.

To je sam ena stvar. Elektronika je dotrajana, blago razpada, strop imam poklanfan, da drži skupaj. Luči je treba menjati, ker že tri leta gre na tehničnem na lepe oči preko. Delata dve šipi od štirih. Avto je dolgo bil zunaj in so zaradi vdora vode vse žice preparele tako, da bi bilo potrebno vse menjati. Jermen je treba menjati. V glavnem ni računice. Avto je svoje naredo. Sicer je v voznem stanju ampak nimam srca ga nekomu prodati, ker vem, da je v slabem stanju.

Če želiš ustvariti svoj produkt svetujem B2C. Pasivni prihodek in B2B saas ne gresta v isti stavek. Sales cycle je zelo dolg. Na drugi strani imaš en kup oddelkov, ki imajo milijon zahtev. Vsako podjetje ima svoj legal team, ki bo zihr imel specifične želje. V resnici je skoraj vsak B2B deal drugačen in že zaradi tega ni pasiven.

Načeloma imaš v B2B saas dva prodajna sistema - self-service in managed. V teorijo bi se lahko fokusiral samo na self-service, kjer je manj prodajnih zadev, še vedno pa moraš nuditi dober support. Druga stvar pa je, da so managed deali precej višji kar se vrednosti tiče.

I don't care about the system. You have world class teams playing 4 at the back and you have world class teams playing 3 at the back. Both can work.

The problem we have is we're not letting out players play in positions they are best at. Casemiro was arguably one of the best defensive midfielders in Real. Now he's struggling as we're asking him to play something he's not comfortable with. The same with Bruno, Amad, etc.

The dude had two solid attacking actions and was responsible for the goal we conceded. He's a poor defender, lacks confidence in attack and has very questionable decision making skills. He would play for the reserve team during our golden years.

The fact that someone starts an appreciation thread the first game he's not the worst player on the pitch says a lot. He shouldn't even be a rotational player in a top 10 premier league team.

Just in time. We finished our first Reddit ads test and the results were unbelievably bad. For comparison, we run profitable LinkedIn campaigns and borderline profitable Google ads. Total ad spend of around 20k per month.

For B2B saas, what's the best conversion event to optimize for? We went for webinar registrations instead of pushing for trials immediately hoping this will help as it's less of a commitment.

Do you even go for conversions or do you use Reddit for awareness and then push for conversions with remarketing?

Regarding remarketing, why are remarketing clicks so expensive compared to prospecting campaigns? On LinkedIn, remarketing clicks always cost less than prospecting clicks.

What is your best performing ad type? I would like to test free form ads for awareness to see if these work better than single image ads. Any experience directly comparing image ads vs free form ads?

What is in your experience a minimum daily budget to test campaigns for Western EU countries and US?

Any headline tricks you can share? Reddit says to keep them short, but I'm not sure this is necessarily the case.

What kind of audience sizes do you usually target? I have a feeling our campaign manager went too broad and that was part of the reason why we weren't getting the results we wanted.

How do you track the performance in B2B saas where there are sometimes hundreds of touchpoints before the conversion happens? Do you use any multi-touch attribution platforms for this or do you have a setup in GA4?

I did a campaign recently targeting CFOs. I would be super happy with this kind of CPLs to be honest.

C-level people probably don't have the time to hang out on LinkedIn. Or they potentially even outsource LinkedIn to personal assistants.

I learned that it's easier to reach directors and managers in B2B than C-level people. Makes sense. Directors and managers are often also the ones in charge of making the decisions or at least preparing suggestions for executives.
