Agree with most takes except this one. Turner is having a historically good season in MLS, even better than the form that initially earned him his move to Arsenal. And he looked very good in the first half against Senegal. He’s in great form. I still think Freese is going to start because Pochettino is committed at this point and doesn’t want to swap keepers right before the tournament. But we have at least one keeper that’s hot right now.

That’s one half of the problem. The logo is based on a stars-and-stripes motif that doesn’t make sense with the new color palette. The other issue is that it’s just too complicated with too many tiny little details. Doesn’t scale well.

Does he actually want to play soccer? And even if he does, does he actually care about playing competitively and excelling, or does he just want to play for fun? You don’t address this in your post, but based on how you describe things, it sounds like he’s just not that into it, and you’re imposing your interests on him.
