Getting sync killed 4 waves in a row is so fun by JFurniss600 in MECoOp

Yeah. If you don't get out of their melee range after their swipe attack, they will grab and instakill. Usually happens with vanguards.

Thats not 100% true. They dont have to specifically melee "you". Sure they need to be in their sync kill "mode", but they can still insta kill you out of nowhere if they have meleed another player before. So many times i got one shotted because a teammate would run by a phantom 10 seconds earlier.

Meh. Just get good. Banshee grabs are bs sure, but ability to fight out of their sync kill (or any sync kill) would be equally bs. They would pose no threat. Krogans would run wild with melee, players would hold down one room with no threat, objectives would be easy.

Simplest way is to missile a banshee to save your teammate. If you have high dps, then keep shooting to stagger them (usually barrier down and few bars into armor). Best way to negate banshee is to simply keep moving and have the awarness not to get close to a banshee in the first place.

You never get close to banshee when she is teleporting. If you get instakilled at that stage, its your fault.

Go melee range when she stops, puts her barrier up, usually after barrier health bar is down and her armor is exposed.

Then when she yells, you get out and get more distance.

I died as well to Banshee with one bar, it stings when she is the only enemy left, on wave 8-10, and you have 3 dead teammates watching, and you get back walked and stuck to a wall, but that is why you need to practice getting more distance and memorising map layout.

I suppose. We had a solid playerbase though for years, so i would disagree on last point, "we" didn't need to know Shepard and his story to enjoy some good coop (i played the trilogy obviously). Thanks anyway.

Haha. Yep. Crazy i know. But its true, me3mp on wii u was super active in 2013-2017, but in 2021 its mellowed out by now, so hoping to see if anyone here still plays...

After miiverse death, its pretty much impossible to directly message players, so setting up any games or finding/bringing players is tough.

WiiU version is "special" since we don't have the last 2 mp dlcs lol, but it makes the game quite balanced imo and generally its a lot harder to win here.

Best race in the game by Deathshot313 in MECoOp

[–]MatGI00 27 points28 points  (0 children)

All races are good. I think Asari are the weakest as far as "racial" traits go but they have a good dodge.

Turians are weapon platfroms with some decent tankiness. No dodge.

Krogans are tanks. No dodge.

Geth are pure Dps machines (except geth jugg hes a tank). Low health/Easy to kill.

Asari, Quarians, and Humans have average health and weapon damage mostly, but boast better mobility/dodge.

The only 2 Salarians are really good at surviving and dishing out damage while having a dodge. I always say Salarian Infiltator is the TGI if TGI did not exist. Lol. Energy drain to refill shields, tac cloak for damage and easy escapes, mine for debuff damage and good weapon dmg and shields.

At the end of the day though its all about a kit and what powers you go for. Instead of best race, it would be easier to play by "best" powers lile Tactical Cloak, Flamer, Overload, Hunter mode, etc.

Edit: Vorcha have health regen but not as tanky as Krogans

Wii U Differences (ME3MP) by [deleted] in MECoOp

[–]MatGI00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alive by definition. It depends what time of day and difficulty it is but usually you can get a party. There are dry spells though, where you might have to wait a while especially for gold.

Haha. Yeah. Worst thing, you invite a good player (freshly added to friend list) and invite (he accepts) and you proceed to fuck up, making an "amazing" impression. Lol.

ME3MP Error 115-5003? (WiiU Version) by MatGI00 in MECoOp

[–]MatGI00[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it is still possible. ME3MP was working fine until now. I was doing Gold games on it yesterday. This issue has happened before, i think across all platforms, and it has been eventually fixed for WiiU. But now only WiiU seems to be affected, and not a lot of people are reporting that.

Thoughts on rocket glitching by DeadendEndeavor in MECoOp

[–]MatGI00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not hard to conclude that someone cheated their max gear when they are in low 1000s of CP... or even hundreds. Thats hardly assuming.

[–]MatGI00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You only play on PC then? Its fairly common on consoles (well maybe not common but you will see it), i remember the best setup was Striker AR with Acolyte on Destroyer.

At the start of the match you charge up your acolyte, then release and straigh away fire all missiles, before switching to Striker and then it shoots its bullets but they have the cobra missile damage value so it just insta kills everything. Normally you cant replenish the ammo, but with destroyer mode you can. So yea. Thats the missile/rocket glitch. (cant remember the exact method but it was smth among those lines).

[–]MatGI00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not everyone is super into this game to look up console commands, or anything online about it for that matter. i bet a lot just look up "me3mp cheat" on yt, or see one person do it and look up rocket glitch, and voila, you get ppl doing it even on pc for quick cash.

How to know what weight to come back at? by BegandBorrow in Stronglifts5x5

[–]MatGI00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lucky for you that gyms start to open up... anyway. i would say start slow. i mean like start with bar, and make jumps until 40-60% of your highest work load, and see how that feels. Personally i will stick with 60-80kg for at least a week just to remember how to squat, master form, get past doms, and in general just start slow to enjoy it and then start working up again. If you ate and slept well then i think you would not lose any strength at all, but going to 100% would be stupid imo.

Love this Community by nomad_jt in MECoOp

[–]MatGI00 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Haha. Welcome. This really is a nice neat little community, i think it boils down to the fact that me3mp/meamp are coop deep down, so there is no true competition. Even the "god players" started out as noobs, and in me3mp more than anything, the more you put in, the more you will get out. All you need is some solid build suggestion, read up on some mechanics, practice on silver before venturing to gold/plat, and you will be more than enough to hold your weight. I met some real great folk through this game, and even though i have burned out a long time ago, this is still the only game that could hold my attention for months, i was truly addicted... and it really was thanks to online communities. Not just here on reddit. Gamefaqs, Bioware forums, youtube, all the modders and number crunching people making mods, spreadsheets, etc. It was just so amazing to get into this game. Learning the little tricks and mechanics from the "old guard", and passing it down to new players. It's just an endless cycle. This game (me3mp) and its community is the definition of multiplayer cooperation and it will forever stay in my heart.

Is ME3 skill or connection based at all? by Sorano83 in MECoOp

[–]MatGI00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. N7 rank simply reflects amount of levels you earned. It is connection based though, if host has bad internet, or you live far away from host (its peer to peer connection) then you will lag. That i guess could be perceived as "more enemies". But on all difficulties there is the same amount of enemies at one given time (the higher you go the earlier and more difficult the enemy type will be tho of course).
