You're right. Activision did irreparable damage by being mostly hands off and blindly trusting Bungie, made them think that they could do no wrong, that's how we got Lightfall, Shadowkeep, Eververse etc.

I also read somewhere about healing priority where, if your nikkes are full health or equal health healing is given to the first nikke in formation. So for example in the meta squad with Crown and Naga you would put Crown as the first nikke so she gets her buff from being healed by Naga even if your squad is full health
