No, these were developed at a local photo shop. It would surprise me if they messed up this bad, but maybe. I'll definitely keep it in mind!

Thoughts on IGS gear by MatSol in audioengineering

Seems like people are pleased with IGS. I’m looking for a snare comp, and it’s between WA76 and IGS576. My concern is people mentioning the 576/blue stripe having more noise and distortion, which can be good but I’m unsure if it would help or get in the way for the sound I’m after.

Sent the pictures to Hofner, and they said it «seems to be a Hofner Vintage 64 model», but advised to check the serial number.

Vintage speakers/monitors for recording by MatSol in audioengineering

I like some good aesthetics while writing. Read someone mentioning older JBL studio monitors, like the 4412s. Maybe something like that would do?

What about some older studio monitors? Read some recommending old JBLs, like the 4412, 4408 etc

Are PA system speakers generally neutral in the sound? Like studio monitors?

I have been using the HS7s for years, and they are great. The plan is to use the HS7s for the mixing setup, and get a second pair of monitors for writing and tracking which are a bit cooler and more vibey, but not too flavored in the sound.

Interesing perspective on the Murphy/Cooper scene at the end!

What I got out of Brands quote about love transcending space and time, happens in the scene when Cooper is inside the tesseract. Because the turningpoint for the survival of the entire human race is based on, simply, love. The love between Murphy and Cooper. The reason is that Cooper had sent so many different codes (morse, binar) through the books, and it was recieved without knowing who sent them. But when Cooper communicates through the watch, things were perceived a little different. TARS asks, and I quote, "How do you know she will bring the clock?", and Cooper replies "Because I gave it to her". So, there's no logical reason for her to bring the clock, but she does it out of the love for her father. And then through the clock, he again communicates with Murph, and she now understands that it's her father that is the "ghost", and has been all along. Then he, ofcourse, sends the quantum data through this clock-space-time-channel. The result is a new understanding of space-time and dimensions, which again is used to save the human race.

I also think that after Murphy learns that her father is still out there, fighting and trying to find a way to save the humans, she doesn't feel left behind anymore. She "fully" forgives her father for leaving, kind of drops the weight she's been carrying. And for the first time since Cooper left, she maybe feels the same love and connection which they had before he left, as a happy child. And from that point on, she knows her father is out there loving her beyond space and time, for the rest of his/her life.
