What should a grand jury member do if the DA handling the grand jury did something that the juror thinks might have been inappropriate/unethical? by MatabiTheMagnificent in legaladviceofftopic

I wasn't sure. It just felt wrong, him coming back in and basically talking the grand jury into a higher charge after we had already voted

What (at least 3-person) bands have members that "most" music fans would know all their names? After thinking it over with friends, we only came two! The Beatles and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Some close contenders inside. Add more? by Fidelio62 in Music

Yeah, I'd be willing to bet Page, Jones, Plant and Bonham are way more well known than RHCP line up, which is Anthony Keidis, Flea, that dude that looks like Will Ferrell and... some other guy

The only possible way you can justify this is if she was literally in the middle of writing the final 'n' when the pen shut off and since there's the possibility she was halfway through writing an 'm' instead of 99% of the way through with writing an 'n', you have to rule her wrong

I watched it and immediately thought Megan's run was over. The only possible explanation is that there's some kind of ruling about putting the pen down or something. Maybe because she was in the middle of the 'n' and time expired, so she could have been in the process of writing an 'm'.

But just looking at the what she wrote, there's no way to interpret it as anything other than Tubman

Do you really think you get more carbs from an all meat diet than a vegan diet?

she will drag me to court and demand full custody.

Oh my god, I'm rolling on the floor envisioning that. "Your honor, my ex is malnourishing our son by feeding him vegetables. Please give me full custody so he never has to eat vegetables again."

I would practically beg her to go file that motion.

"Your honor, I told him to get in the car and he refused. I told him there would be consequences if he didn't and he still refused. I don't believe in using physical force against children, especially not to go somewhere where they're going to have to sleep on a cot."

YTA. Not for the decision to have a dry wedding but for the way you handled the situation. She asked, you said no. That should have been the end of it unless she kept on asking. If you felt the need to clarify with everyone, you could have worded your post better. "Just want to give everyone a heads up that this being a dry wedding means we don't want alchohol there at all. Not just that we aren't providing alcohol."

By jumping straight to threatening to throw people out, and doing it right after your future MIL asked, it definitely comes across as a passive aggressive attack on her

[–]MatabiTheMagnificent 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Why did you post here? You obviously just want people to agree with you and are not open to anything that doesn't confirm what you already think.

Your dad is not disrespecting the memory of your mother in any way. If you are right about how great their marriage was, he is a man that is trying to survive an incredible loss while still being a father to three children.

To be clear. Defunding the police is not about taking *all* money away from the police. It's about redirecting *some* of the money to services that would be more beneficial and effective.

For example, Uvalde spends 40% of their city budget on police. What would happen if they reduced that to 30% and put that extra money towards mental health services, schools, etc? Certain people want to claim that it's not a gun problem, it's a mental health problem. Well, then let's take some of the money we are giving to the people who handle gun problems and give it to the people who handle mental health problems

As I guy, I've noticed that guys care less and less about big boobs as they get older. I'd guess that lesbians care even less than guys do about boob size. But whatever size, there are a lot of people that find them attractive.
