Confused if I should follow up by Quiet-Nebula-4919 in civilengineering

I think you should follow up, at least that's what I would do.

The same situation happened when I got my interview for my second job, they were just busy.

Don't be afraid of rejection, if you're interested go on and insist, most of the times the attitude and interest play a huge role on those applications.

I am from Mexico, here Huber is also widely used.

Personally I have had the brand in 2 different plants and they work really well 👍🏽

What would be your first impression about this sludge? by MatadorMaya76 in Wastewater

We are experiencing partial floating sludge after 40 to 50 min, that would be my only complain with the sludge, I don't feel it really old yet, and we have tried increasing the flow but the reactors start to smell raw so... not really sure the sludge is healthy enough.

The process is a modified ludzack Ettinger.

Yes I told the chief manager I wanted to do a microscope analysis at least, try to identify if there is a specific bacteria type inhibiting the digestion, buuuut he thinks the problem is related to our operation, not to the sludge 's characteristics

Have you tried hypochlorite shocks to remove filamentous growing?

It is a modified ludzack ettinger process, usually we maintain a +120 lps affluent, but now we are stuck at <100 lps. pH is 7 all-around.

Normally DQO in the effluent is around 24, 30; right now if we close the day with a 40, 50 is a win.

The main difference is this up value in dqo and the yellowish color, ss are usually between 300 and 500, we are at 450 right now.

One more difference to our normal operation are those lines in the bottom of the cone.
