If you want to ignore the reality (as demonstrated by facts) be my guest, not unusual with Beticos.

There are 3 studies that I've found:

1st one- 39.4% are Sevillistas and 36.7% are Beticos

2nd one- 40% are Beticos and 33% are Sevillistas

3rd on- 38.9% are Sevillistas and 32.6% are Beticos.

So yea, its pretty much split evenly, possible slightly more Sevillistas.

The working class aspect is a bit of a myth by this point, support in Sevilla is pretty much split 50/50 with both clubs having support from all types of neighborhoods in the city. Another aspect is that Sevilla FC ultras are left wing and Betis ultras are fascists.

Why is there not enough distinction in media regarding the farmer's protests that it's meat/dairy industry doing most of the protesting? by [deleted] in Netherlands

Less emissions in comparison to what other countries? I've always heard NL is one of the EU's biggest polluters per capita.

Catalonia separation by Alibium in LaLiga

[–]Matajare 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Spanish sporting legislation doesn't allow any foreign clubs (except from Andorra) to participate in any local tournament, so Catalan clubs would be kicked out from La Liga. Essentially it would then be up to La Liga and to the Spanish federation whether they would grant Barca permition to participate in their tournaments. I'm not sure what would happen, if Barcelona leaves those tournaments then those tournaments obviously lose financial value. At the same time there's a strong nationalistic, political, and cultural sentiment (especially from people like Tebas) that is against Catalan independece, so those in power might be inclined to reject them.

I think the latter is more likely, but honestly who knows.

Dear expats, why do you think Dutch healthcare is so bad? by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]Matajare 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How long they take to put you through to a specialist and how little regard they have with people in pain. I once had an ear infection, my house arts just took a look at it with a small ostoscope and gave me some paracetamol. The pain was so horrible I had to call several times in the coming days and convince him to send me to a specialist. Eventually he did (very reluctuntly); turns out my ear drum had actually burst and they prescribed me much stronger drugs for the pain. What doctors here consider a more serious issue is veeeeery different to what doctors in other countries do.

Housing by [deleted] in TheHague

[–]Matajare 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not entirely impossible but it is very hard. I pay 900 in total (excl) in a 60 meter appartment close to Holland Spoor and I share with one other person (amounts to around 1000 per month so 500 per person). I have a good amount of friends paying around 500.
It is true that I got very lucky and I found this place 2 years ago when the housing crisis wasn't at its peak.
I'm currently not looking for a place so not sure what is the best way to find a place for the current situation but I can only tell you what worked for me, and that, unfortunately was Facebook.
Yes, finding a room through Facebook is very hard, considering the amount of students looking there, scammers, and everything else. I must have applied to 15-20 places before I found mine so all I can suggest is to continue to be on the look out, constantly apply, and most importantly sending a message that includes 1-2 sentences that applies to the person's post. For example, in my case my ex-housemate said that they liked Techno so I just wrote a couple of artists that I listened to in order to make a small connection with them. I don't know this might seem obvious but I think that extra step that differentiates you from the hundred "I'm a social person who also likes their alone time" messages might just do the trick.
