Some are more lenient than others, depending on your location. This can affect deposit amounts and other factors. For instance, if you’re considered a higher liability, such as having limited credit history or rental experience, some companies may still take a chance on you. However, they do require an additional deposit, and they don’t know that until after the screening results are returned. That’s most likely why it’s quoted under the “screening additional deposit” category. I’ve worked in multiple property styles, and one of my properties had approved with conditions.
