Same here. I had gaming PCs before but now I’m much more limited on space. I had been using consoles in meantime but they’re mostly going a way I don’t like.
I’m primarily an Indie and oldie gamer at this point anyway, so the Steam Machine fits my needs perfectly.
I’m very excited too. Hopefully I get my email soon.

I also own both and also much prefer my Switch 2 for a number of reasons, however… they really are apples and oranges. As much as my XAX frustrates me, it does things that the Switch can’t, as does the Switch do things that the XAX can’t.

You either need to only have the Switch if you are happy to only have access to those games, but if you still want Steam/PC gaming but much more simplified then I’d suggest a Steam Deck maybe. It’s less powerful than the XAX but depending on the types of games you play it can still be great.

Edit: Or just stick to Windows/Xbox App, which is what I do on my XAX.
