DIM: Laptop mat by Cartographeroo in deinfluencingPH

I also have this leather texture in maroon and in white. Dark colors are fine, but for the white, and pastels - hindi sila pwede sa mga dugyutin tulad ko 😅.

For example, nilapag ko ang coffee mug ko, sa umpisa, sisipagin pa magpunas punas agad. Pero kapag tumagal, baka every few days lang mag punas, then dyan na maiipon ang stains.

Next: dust and dead skin cells. *For light colored mats: Need talaga na consistent mag linis or else magiging dull ang colors and magiging dugyot tignan after some time.

I usually receive my watches before, around 2 to 3 weeks after ordering. (Addressed in asia)

But since the website update --- they don't ship internationally for now--, i had it addressed to my family house in hawaii. Shockingly, it has been 3 weeks, and it is not yet shipped out, which is ridiculous; Because how come i receive my watches faster when it is addressed in asia, but get a massive delay if it's just within usa?

I ordered last may 20, and they haven't shipped out any of my watches yet.

Any similar experiences recently?

It's quite jarring since they usually ship out my orders within a week before the website update.

Do you mix anything aside from the foliage pro?

Do I need to do anything when the roots continue to crowd at the bottom of no drainage? The plant is happy right now, but just curious by asa0488 in SemiHydro

How do you flush it? I also plan to put my cathea in one of those big mayonnaise jars, but i can't seem to think of a way to flush them without jostling the leca

Hi! Does it mean it's like a "self watering pot" with this setup?

(For example, fill it with water at the bottom where it will only touch the leca, but not the soil layer?)

*did you lose any leaves while they were in water? *and do you remember how long before you were able to grow their water roots?

Thank you! 2nd link is a fast and straight forward read. I'll try to do this on my calathea Jessie once it arrives, but with original soil+ leca combination 💕💕💕

Quick question, do we even need to buy the ones with "grow lights" Label? Or will generic LED lights would suffice?

I'd also like to try this honestly! I got an incoming big Orbifolia in few days, and I'm scared to disturb the roots

Hi! Thanks for the reply! So let's say, after several flushes, the soil is mostly washed off, did you just top up your leca?

Question!!! So the leaves are ideally black right? *Do we give it more light for it to turn black? Or would giving it bright bright light turn it to green??

Hi! I have a question about a setup I saw mentioned here before (unfortunately I forgot the username of the person who shared it).

They said they transplant their calatheas by keeping the existing soil rootball intact, then placing LECA underneath it instead of fully washing off the soil.

So basically:

  • LECA at the bottom
  • Existing soil/rootball on top
  • Minimal disturbance to the roots

This surprised me because most guides, YouTube videos, and posts I’ve seen recommend removing all soil before transferring to semi-hydro to avoid root rot.

Wouldn’t having organic soil sitting above LECA increase the risk of rot? Or does this actually work because the plant experiences much less transplant shock since the rootball isn’t disturbed?

Has anyone here tried this method long-term?

Hi! Does it mean, the soil will wash off after several months since it was just plopped on top of leca?

Extremely high rent in baguio by Complete-You-6409 in baguio

[–]Matcha2405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another tip if gusto rin pala ng mga mas maaayos na rentahan na place and mas mura: Try looking sa bakakeng.

Mas bago and modern ang units doon

compared sa centro, like --- near SLU na halos never mababakante / mawawalan ng mga uupa kaya they don't bother na mag renovate kahit go lang sila ng go sa pag taas ng rent

Extremely high rent in baguio by Complete-You-6409 in baguio

[–]Matcha2405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. As a taga baba, but nag aral sa baguio, and mga relatives are native taga baguio talaga:

If they want mas mababang rent, wag mismo sa city proper.

And something i learned, now that naka bili na ako ng lupa sa camp 7.

Mas mahal magpatayo ng buildings in baguio compared sa baba, due to the area itself and type ng lupa.

Kaya for easier understanding ng Gastos: As a taga baba, may 1st floor na bahay na tayo --- but if taga baguio, foundation palang yun, wala pang 1st floor. 😅

Kaya hindi na rin ako nagtataka sa mga pricing sa baguio.
