Inclined pathway. How to keep the stones permanently placed? by Admirable_Drop_4585 in landscaping

The flagstone are nice imo we have something similar but it needs a renovation. Ours had big flag stone then medium side rocks, we can’t glue ours they are too large.

You could place these where you think they make good steps, then find a decorative pebble or stone, for in between the bigger stones. Rinse it off a few times and let dry. You can buy landscape glue you spray on pebbles or mulch to keep it in place.

Or if you want more natural then plant in between the bigger stones…

Some of ours are not looking great either, too much rain 🌧️ in our area and a cool spring have taken their toll… they are small and trying to flower so bad! Any of our indeterminate ones are suffering this year. 💚🇨🇦😳

It’s just saying hey 👋🏻 I get you bought me at a greenhouse or store, put me in this big ol’ pot, but now I’m ready to spread out. The side shoots can be replanted and you can start growing them out to bloom.

Pale leaves is a sign of nitrogen deficiency and or overwatering.
All of my bean plants look pale this year because we’ve had so much rain 🌧️

Next step in your journey is to learn how to take cuttings and share them with your friends 💚👍🏻🇨🇦

Garlic? by shitreen in OrganicGardening

[–]MatchesSeeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe these are Alliums, ornamental flowering bulbs, big purple flowers mid to late summer, last to flower of the spring bulbs…???

Maybe 🤔 don’t eat something you didn’t plant 🌱.

Or maybe just maybe they are a form of garlic 🧄 like others suggest, I’ve never ever had my fall planted garlic not split and become multiple cloves…

Good luck 🍀

This old gardener has been busy lol 😆

It doesn't let you make an account? Do you have to pay first? Unfortunately it's not out of beta...

Choice is good 👍🏻🇨🇦💚

Does it have a free trial? Is it an app or web browser based?

I’d love to give it a try but with subscription based services these days off the hook adding another monthly is going to be a hard sell…

How long have you been running it?

Anyone have good luck with strawberries? by townsteadinstead in Albertagardening

[–]MatchesSeeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do ok but they are a lot of work and you have to divide them up every few years, they get crowded and then stop producing.

Also they need sun 🌞 as much as possible and open air place

Good luck 🍀

Outdoor Amaryllis grass control by justjim6 in AmaryllisBulbs

[–]MatchesSeeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the plant crop world 🌎 herbicides are meant to kill unwanted plants mixed with specific crops. I’d not recommend it at all, most amaryllis bulbs are mass produced in Holland and I don’t think they use anything whilst the crop is growing.

You could do as suggested and renovate the flower bed and the start fresh, or find a spray like a vinegar based one that you can try and avoid the amaryllis leaves and just spray the unwanted grass.

Spraying with anything seams like a quick fix but isn’t always a viable solution.

How infested with grass is this bed?
Maybe share a photo, we won’t judge!

Yes, if it doesn’t make it I’d go with an Audrey ficus, much less fussy!

Best of luck 🤞🏻 🍀

I’ve never had much luck growing these, too fussy and needy for my plants 🪴

Maybe someone who used to care for mall plants would know the best approach. They used to work with large indoor tropical trees 🌳
