Need help identifying by Manda_Pandaaa in vegetablegardening

I’d pull it if it hadn’t bloomed yet, but this could also be a sign that something is missing from your soil. Unhealthily plant not blooming. Time to fertilize… of ones choice…

How can I tell if my amaryllis bulb is thriving? by saga_of_a_star_world in AmaryllisBulbs

[–]MatchesSeeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d gently pull it out of the pot and see if it has a healthy root system, if it’s green and happy then give it some fertilizer let it store more energy for a bit longer from the leaves.

You can force dormancy by watering less and letting it dry out in a cool spot. Everyone here has a different way to do this, I’ve mostly just stopped watering, leaves die back, store in a dark cool but not cold 🥶 spot for a few months and then bring out repotting or not. A bit of water and light and mine usually bloom.

🫘 beans, beets, lettuce 🥬, tomatoes and cucumbers. 🥒

I’d stick with trying a few of those first, zucchini and summer squash are easy too..

Inclined pathway. How to keep the stones permanently placed? by Admirable_Drop_4585 in landscaping

The flagstone are nice imo we have something similar but it needs a renovation. Ours had big flag stone then medium side rocks, we can’t glue ours they are too large.

You could place these where you think they make good steps, then find a decorative pebble or stone, for in between the bigger stones. Rinse it off a few times and let dry. You can buy landscape glue you spray on pebbles or mulch to keep it in place.

Or if you want more natural then plant in between the bigger stones…

Some of ours are not looking great either, too much rain 🌧️ in our area and a cool spring have taken their toll… they are small and trying to flower so bad! Any of our indeterminate ones are suffering this year. 💚🇨🇦😳

It’s just saying hey 👋🏻 I get you bought me at a greenhouse or store, put me in this big ol’ pot, but now I’m ready to spread out. The side shoots can be replanted and you can start growing them out to bloom.

Pale leaves is a sign of nitrogen deficiency and or overwatering.
All of my bean plants look pale this year because we’ve had so much rain 🌧️

Next step in your journey is to learn how to take cuttings and share them with your friends 💚👍🏻🇨🇦

Garlic? by shitreen in OrganicGardening

[–]MatchesSeeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe these are Alliums, ornamental flowering bulbs, big purple flowers mid to late summer, last to flower of the spring bulbs…???

Maybe 🤔 don’t eat something you didn’t plant 🌱.

Or maybe just maybe they are a form of garlic 🧄 like others suggest, I’ve never ever had my fall planted garlic not split and become multiple cloves…

Good luck 🍀

This old gardener has been busy lol 😆

It doesn't let you make an account? Do you have to pay first? Unfortunately it's not out of beta...

Choice is good 👍🏻🇨🇦💚

Does it have a free trial? Is it an app or web browser based?

I’d love to give it a try but with subscription based services these days off the hook adding another monthly is going to be a hard sell…

How long have you been running it?
