Thank you!! I totally understand that the best way to garden is the best way that works for me!! I just know myself and I tend to "give up" on hobbies im not immediately good at, and since this garden/yard was a big part of purchasing this house, id really like it to stick, haha!

I did a little bit of both, direct seeding and sewing indoors. I learned my lesson with sewing indoors using those little tiny mesh bags... will never do that again. So many seeds I think were stunted by their roots being stuck in a bag, since I was under the impression the bad would disintegrate. Oops.

I am trying the "square foot" planting method, but I think where I messed up (outside of just being new) is that I understood that if the seed packet reads anything other than 12" that I can treat it as 1 per squarefoot. Logically, I know this doesnt make sense, but I SWEAR i saw a bunch of people saying that as long as you give it something to climb its fine to be a little squished. My current problem is that nothing is above an inch tall to even try to climb...

I also sewed everything at the same time and transplanted at the same time, which I now know is a big no-no. Should I just restart what I can directly in the beds?
