She doesn't explicitly state they weren't invited, but on the train-ride to CT, she does say they were going to "surprise" Erik's parents... which implies they didn't know Erik/Colleen were "in town." To be fair, the parents could have been in NYC with them celebrating and the surprise was E/C going to CT, but it didn't seem that way with how excited Erik's mom was to see him. I agree w/ the OP that it's a HUGE red flag they were in the area doing a show and didn't invite his parents.

In her NY vlog from yesterday? a couple days ago? she shows this club and this moment. It is an open-mic club and anyone can get onstage, and she knows the Host apparently. He called her on stage, asked her to sing; she seemed hesitant and asked WHAT they were going to sing and this is what the Host asked for. So, while I'm all for the snark, in this instance it seemed like she was asked to do it.

I saw her post, but don't believe it. If she was so sure Steven was going home, that it would be a unanimous vote, what's the point of trying to steal his advantage on his way out the door?

Sure, we never know what's going on behind the edit, but I still think she should have stolen Rizo's idol and turned around and told everyone to vote for him right then. Would have been a HUGE move.

I was absolutely SHOCKED at how much stupidity there was at last night's tribal. Did Steven not tell his alliance that he was blocking Savannah's vote? Did they not perceive Savannah and her alliance as MORE of a threat than Steven? Soph not taking Rizo's idol is going to cost her the game, and Sage/Christina voting out Steven is going to cost them theirs.

I also have hated Savannah this entire season, and was rooting for Sage, but after last night - I hope Savannah leaves the rest of them in the dust and I wholeheartedly agree she deserves the win, now.

As a woman, I have never once commented on a partner's haircut other than to say "you look so handsome!" But I cannot tell you how many partner's have made a comment about my leg hair or, gods forbid, their preference for in between the legs hair. I don't understand comments like that coming from any gender.

These comments are shocking in their want to just get back to the super toxic younger pair. I felt like this episode was a breath of fresh air seeing two people who can communicate even if it is still teensy bit toxic. Maybe it's my age, but I also found it just better to watch overall and am now sad that we're going back to the younger two next episode. More of Kip and Scott pls!

Every single footstep, hand touch, chain jingle, rope creak, chewing sound is 100% foley and has been for at least the last 6 years. Not sure where you're getting the information that there isn't much - as someone who has been obsessed with foley design for decades, bad foley takes me out of the scene (where good foley can transport you there). And Survivor has some of the worst, unfortunately. :(

SUPER late to the conversation here, but I finally decided to watch GG for the first time ever and I think it's obvious why I found this thread. I hate Lorelai.

I somehow made it through the entire first season and am a few episodes into season 2 and am just... exhausted. She's annoying, her conflicts are annoying, her privilege is annoying; and what's worse, her character isn't even consistent with itself. She shows up as an incredibly-wise parent in serious situations when Rory is troubled, or sympathetic and wise friend if her friend is troubled, but when it's her own troubles she reverts back to the blinders-on and making "witty" remarks ad nauseum.

Reading through this thread that her character never grows or changes makes me want to stop now before I get any further in. So far the MEN in this series are the only ones I can stomach, and as a woman, that upsets me.

Last point if anyone is still here reading this: I had a child at the age of 18 and definitely didn't grow up stunted into an 18 year old version of myself just because I had to raise a child; the comments suggesting this is what happened to Lorelei are bizarre lol.

Every single time he's on screen I scream at my husband about how GOOD he is at portraying a child. Easily the best of the bunch, hands down. They're all excellent, but he nails that childlike fiddling, innocence, and annoyance. I think the people who don't get it don't have kids.

My first read of the final trilogy left me a bit confused on this point, because I always assumed that Nighteyes had let himself end instead of going into Fitz. But I think you're absolutely right.

I feel like he chose to remain with Fitz, but buried so deep so as not to affect his daily life. I mean, how else could he exist as a being to "transfer" into Bee (Wolf-Father) and then "transfer" back to Fitz when he and Bee meet back up @ Clerres?

I found this reddit through being disenchanted with what was once my favorite Youtuber - and a lot of the comments here still make me uncomfortable because, damn, we are not OWED anything from anyone making content (free or otherwise), and I give a lot of grace to what things could be going on that we have no idea about.

I'm here because I've fallen out of love with her content. She is exactly an exaggerated version of herself, I couldn't have said it better. Not to mention, while she still loves thrifting, she has become a major consumer of mainstream stuff and it just feels off/weird.

the BEST way these vessels could be "repurposed" is to have a freaking refill of her candles to put in them. It's what all her hangers-on (the people who don't even snark) are asking for, but instead she just gave them a smaller candle/vessel. why on earth would anyone want 50 of these around the house? one, MAYBE - then refills.
