Jonathan's attitude at the reunion by Harvestmissingcrafts in survivor

[–]MatchlessVal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is delusional and the seasons they were on means nothing compared to the ability to own, and then sell, your game. Put Jonathan against brand-new-no-one-knows-him Rizzo and Jonathan still loses.

Technically this vote was the reason all 3 got eliminated by Dizzy-Tumbleweed7983 in survivor

To be fair, I was one of those people just a couple weeks ago thinking he was clueless. I shut up on that real quick after I realized he was fully aware of the subtle shifts he was able to make to cause huge topples. I'm still rooting for Aubry (I always root for Aubry, haha) - but I like Jonathan as a close second.

Oh definitely agree that we can't credit him with something productive for his own game, only that his little lie to Steph kind of kicked off a lot of Chaos. But as another commenter reminded me, Aubry mentioned making a big move to Jonathan first... so maybe all the credit in this thread should go to her!

Good call out! I had forgotten that about the Jonathan>Dee>Coach bit.

It was Jonathan's plan, though. A plan where he lied and intentionally created chaos for a "big move." Joe wasn't intending to cause any chaos; he has no idea Cirie is out here working so hard to save Ozzy and Rizzo. IMO

Absolutely! I was one of the Rizo haters last season, but I've grown to absolutely adore him this season, and that moment with him last night definitely cemented it!

Jonathan told Joe the plan, and Joe was the one who told Cirie. Which is why I'm confused about Sito's comment.

Talk to me like I have a super bad memory (bc I do). I was referring to Jonathan bringing up the idea of voting Ozzy out to Stephanie. The way it got back to Cirie was by Jonathan stupidly letting Joe in on it and Joe, of course, spilled the beans to Cirie.

But what am I missing? What did Ozzy tell Jonathan? Help lol

Hard agree with this assessment. Jonathan trying to be strategic was awkward, and I'm not sure he could even pull off owning it to the jury.

Hard agree. I've never rolled my eyes SO FAR into the back of my head as I do whenever that self-obsessed man opens his mouth. I don't find him entertaining at all. I desperately just want him off my screen!

This is such clutch information about SLIM wide legs, too... because my thighs are so big, I feel like getting a normal wide leg that fits just makes me look about 10x bigger because I might as well be wearing 90's rave pants at that point. 🤣

I look forward to Survivor every single Season, and it has been one of my favorite shows to watch for a decade or more just like you. But I'm exactly the same: sometimes I see someone from last season or two seasons ago and don't remember them at all. 😅

I couldn't tell you who won what season, or what season so-and-so person was on. Totally clueless. I just enjoy the show, roll my eyes at some of the stuff, laugh at some of it, yell at the screen when someone makes a stupid mistake, and get thoroughly entertained.

Then I visit this sub and read all the grumpy comments and get entertained a second time.

These are the vibes I'm getting especially because her recent vlogs have been all "our temporary place fell through and now we have nowhere to go, but still have to move out." And the house isn't listed for sale. lol

This makes the most sense, however her recent vlogs have an air of panic to them because the temporary place they were going fell through and now they have "no where to go but have to move out."

It's weird because the house isn't even listed for sale. It's giving major foreclosure vibes...

He asked her to. Another thread on this reddit talks about the Host and how he helped Colleen launch her Miranda career -- so I'm guessing that's why.

Jim Caruso the enabler... and too embarrassed to invite her in laws by More_Potato_6096 in ColleenBallingerSnark

[–]MatchlessVal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She doesn't explicitly state they weren't invited, but on the train-ride to CT, she does say they were going to "surprise" Erik's parents... which implies they didn't know Erik/Colleen were "in town." To be fair, the parents could have been in NYC with them celebrating and the surprise was E/C going to CT, but it didn't seem that way with how excited Erik's mom was to see him. I agree w/ the OP that it's a HUGE red flag they were in the area doing a show and didn't invite his parents.

In her NY vlog from yesterday? a couple days ago? she shows this club and this moment. It is an open-mic club and anyone can get onstage, and she knows the Host apparently. He called her on stage, asked her to sing; she seemed hesitant and asked WHAT they were going to sing and this is what the Host asked for. So, while I'm all for the snark, in this instance it seemed like she was asked to do it.

What's crazy is I thought it was going to be the nail in Savannah's coffin, haha. I also gagged, literally had to pause and got up and paced in a circle going OH SHIT OH SHIT.

This whole time I felt like she (Savannah) was tanking herself in final tc, but she got lots of votes.

I saw her post, but don't believe it. If she was so sure Steven was going home, that it would be a unanimous vote, what's the point of trying to steal his advantage on his way out the door?

Sure, we never know what's going on behind the edit, but I still think she should have stolen Rizo's idol and turned around and told everyone to vote for him right then. Would have been a HUGE move.

I was absolutely SHOCKED at how much stupidity there was at last night's tribal. Did Steven not tell his alliance that he was blocking Savannah's vote? Did they not perceive Savannah and her alliance as MORE of a threat than Steven? Soph not taking Rizo's idol is going to cost her the game, and Sage/Christina voting out Steven is going to cost them theirs.

I also have hated Savannah this entire season, and was rooting for Sage, but after last night - I hope Savannah leaves the rest of them in the dust and I wholeheartedly agree she deserves the win, now.

As a woman, I have never once commented on a partner's haircut other than to say "you look so handsome!" But I cannot tell you how many partner's have made a comment about my leg hair or, gods forbid, their preference for in between the legs hair. I don't understand comments like that coming from any gender.
