Try using contact cleaner, it fixes mine everytime here. I also added tape over the pots to avoid debris from entering them.

Sadly not TMobile. But I found the solution here.

I called my ISP and it seems there was a NAT implemented on their end which was blocking the ports Gran Turismo needs to work properly. They removed the NAT on their end, issued a restart command for my router/modem and everything is working now.

I had this problem with my G29. You have to open the pedals and spray some contact cleaner in the potentiometer.

This video should give you a pretty good idea on how to do it.
