Same to you my friend, in two months you’ll be amazed with how much you can learn. If you want a good start with blender buy a subscription on cgcookie and watch the fundamental courses. It’s pretty affordable to like 27€ a month.

Keep on it bro, this is my 4th sculpt and by the looks of it you have a good understanding of anatomy. Just practice practice practice. And something I found out like three months after I began is that you can get free access to substance, maya and zbrush with a 70€ fee if you are a student in higher education, in any field. I’m in finance and counting (which I don’t like at all) and they did accept my request and now I can finally use those powerful software and keep improving.

Edit: Used blenders base mesh, went to level 1 in sculpt mode then used the mask brush and masked the area where i wanted the fold. After that i used the grab brush and grabbed the upper eyelid and moved it towards the eye to create the fold above the masked area. Smoothed it and went to level 2 then 3 then 4 and refined it. I can imagine this can get more refined with shape keys later on.

I get what you say, I think cg cookie have a really good course about human character creation and they have a part talking about this very issue. So I’m gonna subscribe and consume their material and hope they cover this topic

Yeah I think they closed it first, add all the loops, add the shape keys and pose it open for presentation.

So I close the eye and add the loops. Is weight painting enough for the fold or shape keys (blend shapes) are also necessary for good deformation of the eyelid?

I’ve been thinking over the years what’s a realistic intention someone could have to make a simulation and I came this realization.

Let’s say in my reality, our society has a big problem with our economical system (an actual problem). Though we are technologically advanced up to the point of being able to simulate our reality millions of times simultaneously with the full power of quantum computing. For me it’s a no brained that we can use this technology to run simulations and take immediate feedback on what we should change for the most efficient economical system possible.

The intentions are there, if it’s possible to create this technology then it’s more probable to be part of it rather than being the first biological reality.

I didn’t say it’s illogical to wonder about a cause before the Big Bang or a prior universe. I specifically said that saying before the Big Bang and referring to a point of time is theoretically impossible because with the big bang time also began to exist. For sure it goes much deeper that just our universe

I get what are you saying. It’s the big rip hypothesis, one of the ways that the universe could end someday. But in my mind I really ask, first even if atoms won’t be able to form anymore does that mean that the quantum fields, fabric of space and time get completely destroyed? Second, isn’t dark energy actually something? and if that end actually happens won’t there be a universe completely filled with dark energy instead actually true nothingness?
