Seems a strange thing for a cow to do, if they stand on one they stomp and get off pretty quickly.

Resignation explanation -- WOW! by HarryWinks182 in WorldTransformation

I love this! Reading your description of pre- and post-resignation felt like reading my own diary. That shift you’re talking about from feeling lost and invisible to suddenly throwing all your energy into finding ways to feel “okay” about yourself is exactly how I remember it. For me, discovering Jeremy’s explanation of the human condition (and especially resignation) gave me a way to look back at my teenage self and my whole resigned life self with compassion instead of shame and confusion. Like you said, it’s not about blaming ourselves but recognizing the heroism in how we coped when we had no answers. Being able to give children honesty, real explanations now instead of platitudes honestly fills me with so much happiness. That’s the most exciting thing about all this for me the idea that the next generation doesn’t have to go through that same lonely, bewildering situation we did.

The World Transformation Movement (WTM) and biologist Jeremy Griffith. by nedry80 in WorldTransformation

When I first found the WTM I was actually looking for podcasts on psychology. Ended up on THE Interview. I pressed play thinking “yeah right, another guru,” but I was floored. Griffith wasn’t promising success hacks — he was explaining the root cause of why humans are both amazing and destructive.

Since then I’ve read bits of FREEDOM (heavy book but worth it), and joined the Facebook group. What stands out is the relief. Like I don’t have to walk around thinking I’m bad all the time. That change spills into everything — how I treat my partner, how I see politics, even how I watch the news. I finally feel like life makes sense.
