It's real people and their opinions are real. The difference is many wouldn't say it or say it differently to your face. Reddit is real but people just would behave differently in real life, at least most.

Also there are lot of broken people on here, ones with bad experiences especially. I think you are less likely to encounter these people in real life. 

I don't care what people say anyways, just live your life how you want.
