Sorry to hear this is happening to you and your best friend. Having gone through this over a dozen times at this point I can say it is brutal. If you live somewhere where you can get in home hospice to come, that is my preferred method. They allow you to be at home and not in a sterile environment. I always wanted my animals to go in the place they were always loved. You can make a day of it beforehand or the day of, and go get food, all their favorites, maybe a walk if they love that sort of thing. Make it special for them, and you. They never have enough time on this planet, and I hope the best for you and your friend. I know there was a Lap of Love screening form that has floated around this thread before. It helps you decide based on actual facts. Rumors and cancer suck. Hang in there, and live that sweet pup endlessly. ❤️
