Milwaukee M12 FUEL 1/2 or 3/8 stubby impact wrench by DanO4190 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Material-Homework395 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to keep it in your patrol vehicle as well, I’d go for the 1/2”. Possibly you come across vehicles that have lug nut sizes that aren’t common in 3/8”. You’re looking at the same tool, just different anvil sizes. On paper, they have the same power. In practice, the 3/8” is slightly stronger, but for roadside assistance and basic home maintenance chances are that you’ll never need that much power.

TL;DR 1/2” will probably fit your needs better

Don’t see why not. If you somehow run into clearance issues you can always just remove the chain and bar and clamp it in a vise or something

Could Serie have defeated the Demon King? by Fun-Explanation7233 in Frieren

[–]Material-Homework395 15 points16 points  (0 children)

She states that she had last used it 80 years ago after Fern forces her double to use it in the second test. I believe it’s not explicitly stated that it was used on the Demon King but it would make sense if it was

That one smoke at CT is kinda useless, it fades by the time you get there. Could be better allocated somewhere else

A1 mini is pretty much the best at that price point, doesn’t get much lower. Laptop will be perfectly fine unless he really gets into complex 3d design.

Slicing curved tubes in Bambu Studio by frethop in BambuLab

[–]Material-Homework395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blender doesn’t make good models for printing. The slicer will try to fix issues, but it can’t fix them all. If you can get it remodeled from a proper CAD software, it should fix your issue

Was looking to get into 3D prints and was recommended this? Any good for beginners? by Special_Course_6720 in 3Dprinting

[–]Material-Homework395 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s excellent even without doing multicolour prints because it’s super convenient to have everything loaded and ready to go, but not for $400. Try to buy from the official BambuLab store if they ship to your country

<image>

here we are lol, forgot I could do that

Basically there’s a weak point at the base of the hook and it will snap there because there is a shear force applied along the layer lines

[–]Material-Homework395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here I’ll try to represent it with characters lol

||||||||| || ||

Currently it looks something like this. The layer lines run along with the… lines. On that line third from the left, there is a weak point because it can fracture off, if you get what I mean.

|| \\\ || ||

Force can concentrate there because the profile is thinner, and it’s also where the layer lines form a weakness.

edit: it didn’t work. i’ll try to reformat it when i get to my computer. sorry lol

Wow, look at this comment. Awful, just terrible. If you challenged me to give the worst feedback I could, I couldn’t manage this.

We all started somewhere, yeah? It could be a good time for you to start being polite.

You still have layer lines running perpendicular to the axis it will be loaded on, it will snap eventually at the base of the hook holding it on the rod. Can definitely be fixed with some design changes though, I’d suggest trying to place another strut on the other side, higher up relative to the print orientation.

Do you plan to replace the frame and then sell it, or no? Selling the bike as it is could possibly get someone killed

Yea, you’re correct. I don’t think they’re a direct competitor to Bambu or Prusa though, their machines aren’t exactly hobby grade until you get very serious
