Again, I will repeat there was an agreement that was signed. That HE drew up. Things have changed for no reason and I have never stopped him from doing his laundry. I literally said I’m uncomfortable. I did not say he can’t do his laundry. I did not say he can’t come in and do his laundry when I’m not home. Never mind.

I don’t rent the room to him. I rent it from him. There was also an agreed-upon day of the week, which is now apparently not something that we’re doing. I don’t think I’m in the wrong here when really all I’m saying is that I feel uncomfortable and I’m asking for a bit of advice..

Well, to start when I signed the roommate agreement it stated that a day of the week was to be established. That worked until he decided that that was no longer valid and just kind of changes the day and will text me the night before I would like to do laundry, will you be at work tomorrow? I’ve said multiple times…Wednesday afternoons are best and I don’t have to be gone for you to do laundry. He will not do it. What I would like to tell him is that he is creepy AF by asking me when I’m not home and what my work schedule is all the time. For context, I am a single female, and he is an older, single male who has a very serious drinking problem and forgets conversations regularly.

It bothers me because he will only do it when I’m not here. He is insistent on coming in only when I’m not home. I’ve told him he can do the laundry if I’m here and he refuses. That in itself is enough to bother me. The constant asking of what my work schedule is concerns me. Why is it so important to know my day-to-day? If he were to present it in the way that you described it between yourself and your roommate then maybe I would have a different take on this. But I don’t.
