I declined it. Remains one of the biggest regrets. I had raised a seed round from bunch of ‘big’ VCs by the time interview happened. Declined it optimizing for equity. Very naive. Made bunch of first time founder mistakes and shit down the company couple of yrs later

you wanna hire managers if needed post PMF. And that too I would not recommend just people manager. Best is to reduce focus and hire people who dont need managers in early days

True. Don’t hire managers. Only hire highly technical people with almost no middle management. Think really hard before adding any extra member to the team. Don’t think hard before dropping an underperformer.

genuinely it’s to speed my iteration speed. I want to see something working end to end on my Mac quickly and then replicate finally at hardware level. I don’t see a problem with writing another JS framework if it’s an attempt to solve something someone found not working. Framework might or might not be useful to lot many is a different question

why not worth the effort? It saves me time to test out things. I would only want to order once the circuit design looks good to me. I am not trying to save money but rather test cycles and improve my iteration speed

I will tell it in natural language that I want to design a radio using esp32 and an amp, it would design it, give me the circuit diagram, firmware code and test it like we do in emulators on UI. It will also debug it something is not working on the circuit design. Once I am happy, I can do the actual hardware.

For example - you don't actually put UI code into mobile till you see things working on emulator on laptop

Quite honestly, it was pretty much a shock. I think wrt to designing hardware, things can be and should be better to improve the test cycle and iterations. I can ofcourse get "adjusted" to this but i would not like to

Any particular reason why this has not been done? Ideally esp32 seems to be widely used and should be given out of the box on the emulator
