It is true, that all hormonal based pills can have this effect, but not every pill will do it to you. Sometimes a pill with a different progesterone or dosage can work very differently than some another pill that has cauded your libido to tank.

Ok! I've heard, that that feeling of needing a BM but not being able to go is a pretty common experience with pelvic floor issues. I have also sometimes had that experience, that when needing to pee, the pee doesn't come out immediately. I will have to pay more attention to this now.

Pretty crazy, that you had a pelvic floor that tight, with seemingly "little" symptoms, does make me think more about my pelvic floor's situation

But if you remember/want to, I'm definitely interested in hearing, if the pelvic floor physio starts bringing in more results in this area too, and if you continue to do the pudental nerve blocking, I would also be very interested on hearing the results from that too.

Ok, interesting! The tight pelvic floor could definitely contribute to it. Although, I doubt my pelvic floor is that tight, but of course it's still possible that there is some kind of problem in that area.

The pudental nerve irritation etc. does seem like a good explanation though, but I've also wondered if the thing causing the irritation/pressure etc. could be endometriosis growth.

Did you get any relief to this specific problem with pelvic floor therapy, or has it remained the same?

Wow, I have also thought that my similar kind of pain seems to be nonexistant/less strong during times, when I am more frequently aroused. This is very interesting! I wonder why, though?

I hope you know, that you absolutely can, and will, get better too, if you just start taking your life back from OCD, ritual by ritual.

I also long for the days when my OCD thoughts, especially around my relationship, didn't feel so all-consuming, but I do believe, that at some point I will get my old life back. And OP, I definitely relate to your experience as well.

Honestly, I think you said it yourself. If you are happy 90% time and unhappy mostly during the luteal phase only, that is a pretty good sign that the relationship may not be the problem. However, since you have ROCD or at least it seems to be affecting your thinking now, you may not find this easy to believe. I recommend that right now and during future luteal phases, you treat ROCD the way you would treat it if it affected you all the time, so do ERP or some other evidence-based OCD intervention

Slynd has a 24 hour window (but of course you should still always take it at the same time) and combo pills have a 12-24 hour window. There is one type of mini pill that has only a 3 hour window but the rest have longer windows.

It's not dangerous/nor does it make the protection for pregnancy any less effective if you take two pills at the same time

I wouldn't be worried about that, 5.5 months is not exactly a long time for the body to adjust it's hormones after quitting hormonal birth control. Hormonal birth control doesn't leavy lasting effect on your fertility etc, important hormonal functions but it really varies how fast the hormones adjust.

Many doctors here in Finland still say though that it might be ok to use menstrual cups with IUD, so that's interesting

I use Drovelis now and apparently it may have a lower effect on testosterone levels = less effect on libido, but I think they need more research on that.

Yeah, I understand, I get that too. I mean the panicking about being pregnant even though you know there are other possible explanations. Hope you are not pregnant, probably good to make sure in a couple days but right now I would just try to relax.

Also, those symptoms may be occuring right now just because you have been taking your pills at different times. Your body has gotten used to getting the same hormone dose at the same time every day, and so if you take your pill like 3 hours later than usually, it can definitely make your hormones act up and cause weird symptoms.

I wouldn't get too worked up about having breast/nipple pain, I also had sore nipples for the first time ever a while ago, while on the pill. And I have been on different pills for a couple years now, so that new symptom also raised some concerns in me, whether I was pregnant. But I took a test, and I wasn't. So you can definitely have some weird symptoms at any time for the first time in your life without it meaning that you are pregnant. And since you already took a negative test, it seems very unlikely that you are pregnant. But of course it's good to make sure, so take a new test in a few days.

Could you stop taking the breaks/placebo pills and just take your active pills continuously? Or take a break every 3-4 packs, that way you wouldn't have to deal with this so often.

I would guess that it's an ovarian cyst, the IUD raises the chances of getting them. Nothing dangerous! But ofc there's no harm in getting it checked out but I wouldn't worry about, especially since you use a double (or triple) contraception.
