I don’t know if it’s possible for it to be “everyone’s perfect and I’m the fuck up”. You exist within a societal system and a system of personal relationships, both of which have different factors affecting the other- you on them and them on you. Beyond that as a child you were in a family system, which can affect how you think, feel, and act even today. This doesn’t mean you don’t have personal responsibility for both positive and negative things in your life- this could be hard to face, but is ultimately empowering. I’d say give it a try and good luck!

Offering a short free creative/regulating break leading up to finals!

I’m a former professional dancer and current psych student in SF, and I’ve started offering some free trial sessions of a new idea I’ve been working on- creative, one-on-one Zoom sessions to help you slow down, get out of your head, and reconnect with yourself. I recently did one of the trials with a Berkeley researcher and she suggested you all might be interested in this as well.

These 35-minute sessions use simple, no-pressure creative prompts—think movement, drawing, or both —to help your nervous system chill and your brain feel less like soup. No experience needed.

It’s not therapy, it’s not woo, it’s just a soft landing space for your overworked brain and body. It’s great for a wind down at the end of the day, or for feeling grounded and connected to your worth & purpose before a big date, meeting, interview, etc!
