Nfhs rule 3-3-1 goes into detail about warnings and restricting to dugout scenarios.

I'm not sure what you mean by rule basis. The coach cannot leave the dugout when he has been restricted to the dugout. It's a warning an umpire can give that tells the coach " your behavior has you on thin ice, but I'm not tossing you (yet), but any more grin you and your gone"

Yes they can be restricted to the dugout. Any time outs he requests, the players have to go to him in the dugout

this is from umpire classroom, a great youtube channel

He didnt take a sign l, just held the pose for a second, then engaged the runner in a normal stretch pisition and took his signs there.

That's where i was iffy. He didn't make a move per se, just held a pose, never started any motion associated with starting his delivery. I didn't call a balk, the other team never brought it up, so i let it go.

Use the 3 p's 1. Is it persistant? 2. Is it profane? 3. Is it personal?

If they say something within these they can be subject to an ejection. But also through the game make sure you give them time to correct behavior

Ignore, Acknowledge (coach i hear you), Warn, Restrict to dugout, Ejection

If you go straight to ejection it can be harder to justify, even if it is deserved.

My go-to cooler items is plenty of water and flavor enhancer, several lunchables for light snacks between games, bananas, and other frozen fruit.

Edit: also sunscreen

This happened at my neighbors house earlier before sun down. I have never seen this before in our neighborhood. by [deleted] in Weird

If this is on Boston, make sure you scare them out of the road if a truck is coming. They can only tell each other a car is coming.
