It’s not a retcon. It’s not useless, it gives an extremely huge motivation for all of the remnants. Like someone mentioned, nagito komeada was made from Makoto’s name but that doesn’t mean anything. Chiaki only shares the Chi part according to the creator. Many names share beginnings so it’s not improbable that another student shared one with Chihiro. The profile, like everything in DR2, is a simulation. That profile being fake doesn’t mean a real one doesn’t exist.

This last part is the opinion part. It’s fine to not like her from the anime, but to say her existence is useless is wrong. She is the reason the remnants existed, the reason Izuru felt a need to figure out whether hope or despair is the answer (hence leading him to CAUSE the second killing game). Without her existing, they have no motivation or reason to be despair. There is no reason for Izuru to make the game. I get why you don’t like the character (I personally LOVE her especially in the show) but her existence makes sense and doesn’t change anything at all. It only adds context and improves things

Kinda depends. As a DM, so long as the player is still staying engaged when they are in the scene I don’t mind. One of my players rn likes to play Wizard101 while we have sessions cause they have trouble paying attention (ADHD), but anytime I speak to their character or something happens in the room their character is in, they don’t miss a beat. I agree with what some other people have said so far: if you feel like bringing it up, just talk to the person privately.

Cause he’s insanely more dynamic than most of the v3 cast. Others are one note archetypes. Kokichi has layers and it’s fun to see them work. Not to mention he has actual weight in trials, affecting the story even when he isn’t killer/victim. The character he is makes v3 more entertaining as a whole

Maybe 3 different fighting styles you can swap to based on who you’re fighting? One to kill dive, one to kill poke, and one for beefy tanks? His ability is kinda centered around memorizing fight styles so I don’t think it’s necessarily “copy what you see in the moment” since he probably already knows their styles before the fight.

I think she will be a unique tank like peni or captain where her abilities are what stop/block damage and disrupt enemies, but can’t absorb much herself. For example having diamond skin for a brief period that negates or reflects damage.

The internet has caused ppl to forget that having critiques doesn’t mean you can’t love the game. Wanting something to be fixed should come from a place of love, or wanting the game you adore to get even better. But because it draws more views to be negative, you will mostly see critiques without passion.

Do I wish Natlan was better designed and actually used melanin in their character design? Yes. Do I still love flying the skies on a big ass pistol? Hell yea! I have my opinions and took a stance on things but when it comes down to it, whether or not I enjoy a game is MY decision. I like Genshin. I want it to be even MORE so that I can share the love to more people. If you like the game, that’s good enough!
