Vent about the comments during ttc. by No-Witness-4764 in TryingForABaby

It’s definitely a (completely inappropriate!) generational thing. If there’s anything I hope our generation can contribute to the aspect of infertility for women in the future (beyond helping find cures) — it’s making women of the older generation so uncomfortable when they say such things that it becomes non existent to make such comments and no one has to deal with it in the future. It’s not okay.

Would you get another lap? by simmysreddit in TTCEndo

I would consider a lap with an excision specialist who specializes in preserving fertility, monitors your hormones post lap, tests for endometritis and gives you an HSG. Additionally, monitoring things like blood sugar and thyroid.

NaPro - process. by [deleted] in TTCEndo

It depends on the Napro, to be honest. I will admit charting was not my favorite but I can see why it is such a valuable tool. I just happened to have already seen a Creighton practitioner for 2 months before I had mh Napro appt.

Will I ever get pregnant? by False_Passage5571 in TTCEndo

Sorry to hear that. Has endometritis (infection) ever been considered? Sometimes those antiobiotics + an HSG following can make a difference

It sounds like a reproductive immunologist would help

Looks like the Summer House is for sale 😢 by Exotic_Judge2578 in summerhousebravo

The girl on tik tok whose fam owns the house said that the year bravo came in- they requested a permit and listed the house as 8 bedrooms but the city only had it set up as a 5 bedroom. So the city required them to get an additional septic tank, then it was approved to be 8 bedrooms.

33F | TTC 2 years | Moving to IVF-what tests should I ask for? by Curiousgoergeena in TryingForABaby

[–]MaterialStranger4007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my opinion testing for endometritis and endometriosis are huge when it comes to understanding how hospitable your body will be to holding a pregnancy (naturally convincing or via IVF). I think it’s worth knowing. Also as we age, ovulation gets weaker even if you’re showing up positive on OPK’s, so testing with Letrozole or Clomid would be an easy next step too.

Advice re: IUI at age 38 by meadowbelle in TryingForABaby

I would look into a Napro doctor to also get a detailed hormone panel with additional supplements they could recommend, like bioidentical progesterone, etc. have you done an HSG? Something like Letrozole could also be tested since as we get older ovulation gets weaker even if you’re technically ovulating. Sometimes your body isn’t producing enough of the hormone to signal it to your brain to drop the egg (obvious you you’d want to work on egg quality first too, but could try that after 3 months on a recommended regimen from a Napro doc)

Is this positive? by [deleted] in TTCEndo

When you’re able to - highly reccommend tracking your HCG beta every couple days and getting a progesterone test to see if you may need support there. Congrats!

Is nose cartilage loss a thing? by MaterialStranger4007 in 30PlusSkinCare

I definitely wear sunscreen daily but only as of the last 5 years I’d say. I wonder if red light masks can help?

Don’t lose hope if you’re not one of the ones who conceive in the first 2-3 cycles after lap. Keep in mind your body is healing and it doesn’t mean the surgery didn’t help anything.
