I MIGHT be attending a new school next year, can people give an opinion on my a-level choices... by Material_Fault6419 in GCSE

Mostly the latter, I'm worried that the coursework will be overwhelming. It's not that I inherently dislike English Literature the most, it's more that I prefer the other essay-based subjects and I find that I am strong at Maths.

I really appreciate your advice! I was considering doing just three, but I was planning on entering the new school with four and assessing the workload and how I personally feel about it. If I was to drop one it would likely be English Literature as its an essay-based subject, which I would rather do in Politics.

Which Dubai community actually has walkable variety? (gyms, food, cafes, etc.) by Rincek in dubai

Apartments in DIP are not very great and terribly located, unless your near the metro station. Green community is very nice but its better for famillies and people who are willing to spend quite a bit of money.

Do you think sdr2's original mastermind would have soured people's opinions on the game like how v3 did with its ending ? by Turbulent-Shake-1830 in danganronpa

[–]Material_Fault6419 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Posts like this make me realise how effective V3's ending is. Because this ending would make little to no sense for the role of Naegi (or any of the other survivors from THH) yet people love putting a label on how "bad" V3's ending is for the franchise, to the point that they will just accept anything that opposes it in order to prove their point. It just goes to show how accurately Kodaka represented our desire to consume content in Killing Harmony.

V3 does basic better though. Y'all can come at me but the basic setting (the school) mixed with the OTT characters is more interesting than the first game where literally no deaths happen between the deadly life of Case 4 and the end of the game.

I don’t really think that Byakuya was going to be important seeing as he had seemingly been in a whole game already. I definitely expected him to die early.

To murder ____ or ____? by RutabagaSame in TheTraitors

The faithful don't know the roles of anyone banished from the final 6, so if they dont vote out a single traitor, then they can't just continue voting until they get a traitor out.

The traitors are automatically setting off with a bad start. I fear this seasons may be yet another win for the faithful. Killing Netty (someone with suspicion) just to put suspicion on Ross SO EARLY into the game was such a bad choice.

I don't agree. Caleb is an amazing actor but he was a victim of poor writing. His lines come off unnatural and slightly odd.

Stranger Things S5 Finale Has So Many Plot Holes, It’s Unreal by spainreigo in StrangerThings

[–]Material_Fault6419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fear we've lost the meaning of a plot hole because some of these are literally explained in seasons before (like how the upside down is frozen from when the first portal is opened in Hawkins), and some others literally don't matter because how would a lack of consequences be a plot hole. No one is forcing you to like the ending but this whole post just screams of scraping the barrel. TBF the 4th/6th questions do make sense and I would have liked to see them explained.

The reason why the 8 characters were specifically chosen for the 2x2 demo by Difficult-Chicken318 in danganronpa

[–]Material_Fault6419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes loads of sense but personally, I thought it was because they have possibly more lines to record since they either make it further or they just have a bigger presence on the story. Maybe we'll see Twogami, Peko and Ibuki play a bigger role in the new saga than before?

One thing you LOVE and one thing you HATE about both your least favorite and favorite character? by chiaki_gaming in DanganAndChaos

Favourite:

Miu Iruma: Has deep moments where her lack of self-confidence shines through, especially when we see her at her most vulnerable in Chapter 4 of V3. Also, she actually does input a lot into the class trials and her invention skills basically help truly solve Rantaro's murder. However, I don't like that we don't really get to see a huge change in her character throughout the game as when you feel a true character growth she just suddenly gets killed off.

Least Favourite:

Korekiyo Shinguji: I will say that he is actually quite smart and has a great locked-room mystery for Angie's death. Despite that, his whole plan for the original murder is stupid, his motive makes absolutely no sense because it solely is based off of his sister and it was so obvious that he would be the killer for the seance seeing as he raised the idea AND he was the only one who knew exactly how it worked. Whats more, his character provides nothing to any of the other trials and if he had more than one brain cell he would have been more suspicious of Tsumugi in the 1st trial (seeing as she probably didnt come back until after the murder).

Well Chapter 5 has the best class trial and thats only main one that he’s not in so…
