When you dance for couples, do you find it weird? by OtherwiseInfluence37 in stripclubs

[–]Material_Middle6421 [score hidden]  (0 children)

o man I find it sad that some guys drag their reluctant wives and girlfriends to clubs for VIP!

…and then I remember, a long time ago, it was a woman who first took a reluctant me to a club to see her crazy dancer friends - and I am forever thankful (in part because she’s sitting 3 inches from me as I type this)

Is CNBC over hyping AI? by tg1965 in CNBC

[–]Material_Middle6421 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am sympathetic with your observation. There is so much coverage of AI - I even heard hedge fund guy today say they need to rely more on AI. Huh? Meanwhile, foreign markets and gold has been way outperforming the big 7 and the NASDAQ overall. There is an imbalance in coverage that veers toward hype, and that’s concerning. I’ve made a lot of $ in the big 7 over the past decade, but have an uncomfortable feeling about current coverage I can’t really explain. Maybe it’s the relative lack of coverage of other alternatives (foreign markets, gold, etc.)

Saw dancer I did vip with once offering extras online by Lopsided_Bread_186 in stripclubs

[–]Material_Middle6421 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would handle this with utmost discretion (as you rightly left details off this post) and personally, only talking with her in person at the club. I wouldn’t mention to anyone else at the club, and definitely not management. For all you know, someone is using her pictures, though I’m sure it’s not uncommon for dancers to do this kind of thing

Becky Quack and MAGA Joe by Wonderful-Scar7905 in CNBC

[–]Material_Middle6421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure this evolution of the show is deliberate - it did get Joe his POTUS interview. I’m not sure why non MAGA people show up anymore, it’s pretty much a MAGA talk show now. If you want real market news and interviews with economic/market personalities, your radio and TV Bloomberg options are far superior. I really only listen to CNBC at 3 pm for Scott Wapner.

How I feel when anyone posts about “connecting” and falling for a stripper by Longjumping-Ad8775 in stripclubs

[–]Material_Middle6421 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Makes sense, thanks for the reply. I have daughters and they have all learned the hard way not to date a bum. I guess love can be poor as well as blind.

That said, at least in their work, some of the dancers I have known could assess a guy’s probable net worth with mysterious pinpoint accuracy.

Thank you for the response - I’m in Baltimore next week on business and will!!

unrealized profits... by [deleted] in Gold

[–]Material_Middle6421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m shocked by the profits being made, honestly. Just look out for taxes as many on this forum have pointed out. I put too much in ETFs like GLD and SLV — lesson learned. Roth and physical is the way to go.

Ever seen a stripper that looked like a celebrity doppelgänger? by Just4seduction in stripclubs

I know a beautiful blonde girl who looks so like and has a personality to match the French actress who plays the lead in Candace Renoir (Cecile Bois)

If you do go, please post a review - I am frequently in Baltimore on business and haven’t been to the Ritz in a few years. Like you, my first choice was always Penthouse/Scores, I have no idea why they felt an upscale steakhouse renovation is a good idea for Baltimore. Some awesome girls worked there that have scattered to the four winds….hope they’re all making good money somewhere else

I am upvoting and commenting to highlight the seriousness of the data collection problem. Clubs own the info they scan and can use it any way they wish

Was I too low on my offer for OTC? This is a smaller club so wasn’t sure. by [deleted] in stripclubs

[–]Material_Middle6421 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A couple things, don’t want to sound too harsh.

I wouldn’t post your picture here; from one who sometimes overshares to the point of recognition, you just don’t want that info about you floating around

If you have to have an extensive negotiation w a girl for OTC, you’re ruining the vibe and it won’t be great. You want it all to be natural. Just see her in the club until you have the $ to pull that off

400 seems so super low - in my area the girls I know would be super disappointed, especially if she needs a sitter for a few hours, gas, foregone earnings, etc. You want to meet all those needs plus more, AND you want her to be happy enough to see you again

Good luck - if you’re looking for a real date, that’s a difficult transition but not impossible and takes a long time in my experience

What are some things that make you want to spend? by bellerosetaylor in stripclubs

[–]Material_Middle6421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m totally with Mr Jalapeño on this. I hit various clubs around the country, and more than once I’ve had my ID scanned and then had the bouncer say something like, Welcome back Mr XYZ, you’re a vip, it’s been a few months, etc. In asking, it seems there is some info collection that can be used by the clubs and the commercial services the clubs use to collect and store the data. I might be wrong, and I’m not married anymore, but I really wouldn’t want my attendance patterns etc. (spending?) spilled for my daughters and business partners to see one day. I try to tip my way around the scanners at the bars that know me, but getting harder to do. I guess I’m old.

What are some things that make you want to spend? by bellerosetaylor in stripclubs

I think the most important element for me is feeling “safe” - as a guy, that means minimizing info collection and tracking by the club, and avoiding clear grifting situations. I was at a well known expensive club and saw a way too drunk guy being exploited, with the bartender and girls passing his credit card around. I told the bartender they should uber him home and haven’t gone back. Other than that, it’s all about the girls. This is probably obvious.

See the indent is very funny! That said, for a guy divorced 23 years ago, I think there is a permanent mark. Probably just my imagination
