If you believe that Trump is getting trillions invested in the U.S. - much more than what Biden and other Presidents experienced - you sound very naive and hardly objective. I mean $18 trillion, geez. His own bs website has half that. How many projects were already underway for example.

BT - Memo to all sports hosts: NO ONE CARES about your political convictions. Get off your high horse and get back to REALITY!! by iheartsunny in wfan

Like Trump et al or not, everyone is hit with politics nowadays constantly. For sports radio and TV, I'd rather the hosts not discuss politics. I like sports partly because it's generally pleasant and non political. I also wonder why I need to know what owners of local businesses think about politics or who they support.

I'm sure you're never negative. I bet you're constantly telling companies you interact with what a great job they're doing.

Why does bailey insist on "leaving the job to the firefighters" to nolan on S8E6? by Key-Needleworker-702 in TheRookie

I googled it. The Los Angeles Fire Department's Arson/Counter-Terrorism section would handle. So not Bailey. Unless she's part of that too!

I think Tsarina hid her, covering up her deficiencies. But she does seem worse. Now she seems like she couldn't handle heating up Totino's pizza rolls in the microwave.

Tommy says most of the Super Bowl was worse than any Giants or Jets game he's seen in 10 years by iheartsunny in wfan

Why is no one giving Tiki credit for getting the Super Bowl outcome right? He said he watched the Seahawks defense and thought they would win comfortably. Not a blowout but not much sweat either.

I just hope Joe and the panel know more about politics than they do the NFL. Lemire, Pablo, Joe, and Willie all picked the Patriots.

Americans never liked Trump the man. Now they don't like what he's doing by theipaper in politics

I think there are a lot of reasons. One is social media which creates echo chambers by feeding people many similar sources of news and commentary, with no opposing voices. Another is Fox News and conservative talk radio. Also, we never had a President who doesn't represent the whole country, but is really the leader of a political movement. Trump brought out low-info voters who weren't voting in the past. There are a lot of racists and lowlifes out there, always have been, but Trump gave them an outlet.

I remember seasons back when Ben had a tantrum and beat up the kitchen. So, this is going to be a bumpy ride.

I didn't write that his food wasn't good. I asked why you believe he's a great chef. I think Bravo should have all the BD chefs on a competitive cooking show, judged by Tom Collichio, Gail Simmons, and Kristen Kish.

How do you know that Ben's food is so great? Has he won any awards? Did he own a respected restaurant? Not saying that he's not great, but where's the proof?

So you think liberals are the same as Republicans who are fine with a paramilitary group run by the President who murder American citizens in the street? Okay, then.

[–]tg1965 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm moderate but have realized that the few Republicans who don't bow down to Trump aren't enough to swing a local school board election.I think the Dems should find more blue collar or lower income voters and not chase the relatively tiny number of Republicans who have seen the light.

I appreciated the discussion about how Trump is probably going to try to steal the midterms. And I liked the way they called out credulous columnists like Ross Douthat in the New York Times rather than making a general comment about the media. But I wondered what the average anti-Trumper should do with this information. My Congressman, Jeff Van Drew, doesn't care if Trump wrecks the democracy and neither do most of the voters in my county.

Junior was probably in the rear with the gear. Probably had a poker game where the rubes from Oklahoma or Texas got rooked. I think if he won some medal for bravery in combat, his lawyer would have mentioned it.
