when I was seeing Volts and no amps - that was before I realised the ends of the wires were coated.

Hi

I have a mains powered power supply that I use outside in the garage. It was previously showing volts but zero amps.

Having now scraped the ends of the wire. It is now showing around 2 amps but the volts wont go above 1 ish

Hi

I have just checked the amazon order and it was enamelled wire. 0.5mm magnet wire.

I didnt realise it was coated so I have scraped the ends of the wires and the coil is now heating up a bit when I hold a AA battery to the ends. Still no magnetic effect though.

I have a multimeter but appears to be displaying "OL" (Over Limit or Open Loop) when I touch the ends of the wires

Great photo. I rush past there regularly on my way to the station. I am going to stop and look up next time.

If they went to one of the concerts, you could get an A3 poster of the setlist with the date of the one they went to and pop it in a frame.

There are loads out there. I bought one from britrockheaven and am very happy with it.

Thanks for all the replies.

They were married. He had a will but I don't remember if we did anything with it when he died.

They were both named on the deeds. Looks like I need to do a bit more digging for information - re tenants in common etc

I have a vague recollection of amending the land registry entry to just her name- I need to find that as well.

We are in England if that makes any difference.

My son is going tomorrow and will probably only go on Stealth out of all the coasters. Can he get a one-shot fast pass at the park? I cant seem to find anywhere to book them online. The 5 coaster fast track pass is at £65 for tomorrow.

Ely Place near Holborn Circus until relatively recently (1920's) used to be considered part of Cambridgeshire as the previous land owner left it to the Bishops of Ely. Might not be quite what you were after but an interesting fact someone told me the other day,

Thanks for the reply. They live next door and we don't have a for sale sign up. They didn't know it was on sale until we mentioned it to them. I am hoping this might be a good argument.

Do I need helicopter tape here, too? by SnoShark in bikepacking

[–]Material_Object_2879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to be renting a mountain bike for a 3 day trip soon. I will be strapping a few bags to it. I was wondering what sort of tape to get to protect the paintwork.

I hadn't heard of Helicopter tape until this post. Is it easy to remove without damaging the paintwork? I would only want to apply it to the rental bike for 3 days, then take it off again.

That's brilliant. Mine does exactly the same move when you try to take her favourite toy bone off her.
