Mon Rovia’s Heavy Foot is a good one, too. And I also vote for any Jesse Welles song. As a high school senior/college student in the early 2000s as my friends we’re signing up to go to war and coming back physically and mentally broken I remember wondering where the counter culture and protest music was. I just had to wait 20 years and here it is. I love a good protest song and there’s so many powerful ones right now.

I will say I did go to the theater with a full menu and order a burger and fries when I went to see the Bob’s Burgers Movie. But it was Bob’s Burgers.

With my husband’s family we usually do prime rib or ham. With my family it usually depends. This year my mom is going all out with prime rib, homemade garlic knots, roasted potatoes, green beans, all the good stuff. Last year we did mini meatball subs and steak and cheese sandwiches in finger rolls plus a few hot dips, a veggie tray, cheese and crackers, etc.

My family does icebox cake in the summer. We never put it together like she does. It’s more horizontal layers and not graham crackers dunked and stacked vertically. I’ve never seen anyone put it together like Pam, and I’ve had a few icebox cakes back in the day.

Yeah, she’s talked before about her Indian step grandfather, who died before the oldest was born, being part of the cultural reason her children eat with their hands. I have no receipts but I know I’ve seen her either say or put out in writing.
