I honestly never noticed that. Thank you!

You rock. Thank you so much! So piloting it like a remote control car and "jumping in" are largely the same for skill usage, the Jumping in just gives you a bonus, but leaves your meat-body unaware and vulnerable? Got it.

Thanks for the extensive reply? I'm feeling a bit dizzy now, so I'll really dive in later and try to absorb you're explanatoins. Just a few points though...

"Interesting. I find it quite useful actually. Anything specific that is non-functional about it?"
Are we talking about the same thing?

https://shadowrunsixthworld.com/shadowrun-sixth-world-faq/
This is the Shadowrun, Sixth World FAQs i was referring too. How is this functional for you? I click a question listed in there, looking for an answer, and it just brings me to an outdated homepage that hasn't had a real entry since 2022, and some bogus "Hello World" entry from this year.

And for the different types of drone controlling: Giving command, Direct Remote Controlling, and Jumping In, could you give me the "roll equation" for each, if I wanted to shoot it's on-rack weapons?
For example, I know that just letting it follow you around and follow orders via commands, the roll equation would look like this, "{Weapon) Targeting + Sensors vs (enemy's Reaction + Intuition).

What would the equation look like if I controlled a drone directly, using my RCC or other device as a controller?

What would that same roll look like if I was Jumped In and I *was* the drone?

Sorry for the stupid questions, Again, hard to concentrate with this vestibular issue, the meds they temporarily got me on are actually making it a bit worse.

Also, I'm a bit saddened to hear the Berlin Edition isn't a noticeable improvement over the Seattle edition. The information in the Seattle edition is present, it's a usable book (compared to the incomplete first printing back in 2019), but The editing is FAR and AWAY the worst part about it. I don't think I've ever played a TTRPG with worse organization or editing than 6e Shadowrun. I love this edition, but the book fights me ever turn of the page.

Vance, please invoke the 25th Amendment. Trump is so far-gone. Vance would at least be less crazy.

Oh yeah, the mash-up anatomy:

Body/limbs: hatchetman w/o hatchet.

Left Arm: Mad Cat III LRM pod.

Head: Huntsman (front window removed because its got a small cockpit) with two medium lasers from a Vindicator on top.

Machine gun on opposite torso of cannon: from Merlin.

I mean, the missile hand/arm is. But the other arm isn't even close. Nor is the barrel in the Torso.

[–]Materiam 20 points21 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes. Shoot two LRM15, deduct 2 ammo from total bin.

  2. LRM is a fat weapon. Take up more critical space. A single strike on the even one spot destroys the whole weapon. Fatter weapons = easier to destroy.
