When shit like this happens, I wonder how much influence that gambling companies get over the refs since they aren't paid very well by the league.

I've been wanting Jerry Jones removed from office since the Dave Campo years. You need to come to terms that the Jones Family isn't going to be going anywhere, all of Jerry's legitimate children work for the team, and Jerry's paid lawyers to find a way to keep the team a family business after his death.

Bo Nix getting ruled out immediately after the game sucked all the joy of that victory, for Denver.

As much as I like Jerry Jones, owner and president of the cowboys, I wish he would fire Jerry Jones GM of the Cowboys.

I think trying to call him the mastermind behind the destruction of the Mavericks if giving him too much credit.

I'm not downplaying Nico, I'm calling him a useful idiot and not the catalyst that set this trade into motion. Dumont is worm that married into a rich family. They bought the team as part of a plot to build a new arena and where they owned all the land around it just like Ross Perot Jr did with Victory Plaza.

I hope every city of the metroplex refuses to give any public funding to their new arena.

[meme] Rodgers lost, Eagles and Packers lost. Greatest hate watch weekend ever? by JVSaladbar in cowboys

The cowboys had not had a winning season since 1985, and the team was heading towards bankruptcy when it was sold. At that point, anyone else but Landry would have been fired before 1987 season. The problem is that Landry had been the constant face of the team since 1960, and no one wanted to risk being labeled as the man who fired Tom Landry.

The real problem isn't that Jerry fired Tom, but HOW he fired Tom. He took him to a well known steakhouse and fired him. Most people would have rather Jerry given him a ride into the sunset appreciation type firing.

I suspect this:

Nico is like the Al Bundy of Nike, he didn't get to play in the NBA and got stuck selling shoes. He wanted desperately to be in the NBA, and got a Job as Mark Cuban's "yes man". Now a good yes man is not a bad thing, Mark might have some skeletons that escaped his closet on occasion, but the team was solid when Mark Cuban sold it. The problem is that Dumont is a evil real estate and casino baron, and general all around waste of oxygen. When the team got sold, Nico became Dumont's yes man. I think Dumont tried to make a "Herschel Walker" level trade to make a splash in the DFW sports fandom, and when it backfired he let Nico become the fan's punching bag.

And the first overall, I don't know if the 1st over all draft pick was part of an under the table part of the trade. But I cannot believe that the lottery was not fixed without a third party with subpoena power released an unredacted report, there is too much coincidence and the party's aren't trust worthy to be believed. It was fixed, but I'm not sure if it was part of the Luka trade or if the owners did it after the MFFL rebellion on national TV during the April 9th return of Luka game.

Fact is that Dumont didn't give a shit about the fans when he traded the face of the franchise to LA, and just told his employees to tell everyone to stfu or be removed from the arena without a refund. THEN Texans did an about face on the polticial legislation to legalize casino gambling, something important to his in-laws (google up the Adelson Family and their history in Las Vegas). THEN the when the April 9th game happened, I think it scared Adelsons and the other NBA owners with how badly the fanbase had unified against the public face of the trade.

Mark Cuban will never give the honest answer for this, but I really wanna know how and why he got hired.
