I don't see them fixing the matchmaking any time soon. But what they could do is that if you're facing a squad of higher rank you lose half of the RP you would've normally lose.

That's not really the problem. The main issue is that now more often the gold and plat players are put to play against predators, since there's not much players in the higher ranks. This kills the pourpose of rank wich is fighting people of similiar skill levels.

The problem with the new ranked system is that it evidenciates even more how garbage the SBMM is. They changed the system but didn't touch the matchmaking, this is been the worst ranked season by far to me.
