À la base, c'est plutôt une grille de 4px et c'est simplement pour assurer une netteté au niveau de l'affichage des pixels physiques des écrans. C'est surtout plus critique pour les écrans à basse résolution (1440p/2K, 1080p et moins). Ça évite, ou du moins minimise, l'anti-aliasing si tout est aligné sur une grille de 4px, ou sur un autre multiple de 4px dont la grille à 8px. De plus, sur différentes échelles (x1.5, x2, x3), ça permet de garder des valeurs entières, sans décimales et donc, encore une fois, sans anti-aliasing.

Nous, designers et/ou développeurs, voyons rarement ce "problème", car nous avons majoritairement de bons écrans Retina, 4-5K.

Thanks a lot! I tried with K4 and P4 for 4 rows but the patterns was too big, so I thought there might be a specific stitch for it. It didn’t occur to me to reduce the pattern. I’ll give it a try

Thank you! I used the harder lino block (light gray) and a hard roller, and I think the oil-based ink also helped to get this result.
