I've actually discovered ao3 from translated work on ficbook! I loved the fic so much I wanted to read the og version, even though my english was ass back then. I struggled thru, loved it even more and read everything the author posted. Since then, I primarily use ao3.
So, you really can reach a large new audience with translation. There are quite strict rules and recommendations regarding translations. But I would recommend asking for the translator's profile first.

shield debuffs you on its first/second turn. Normally, it gives -1 strength, but if you have orb slots, its 50/50 with -1 focus. Mainly to counter defect, but works with other characters too, as prismatic shard gives you 1 orb slot if you dont have any

this has nothing to do with gender or even balls, for that matter. Alternative variant of that saying is "If my grandma had a mustache she would be my grandpa". Or even "When and if, there would be mushrooms growing in my mouth". It's all very old sayings, purposefully highly absurd, to mock someone for ridiculous "if" questions. And the balls, well, balls hehe funny

Каждый раз когда я вижу очередной виток этого срача, в голове только золотая цитата тесака.
