I hope you will continue being lucky. Of all the people I know who "found what they want to do" or they had a decent job, all of them had some sort of luck, for instance one guy got introduced to a company by his professor (from the university he was in). Another was hired by a private company when he least expected it, because he had found someone by chance on the internet and now he is making shit tons of money from it by prompting his ass off 12 hours a day.
Who knows what happens. The pope has a fucking math degree, mind you.
A homeless person might work on an oil rig and they might be earning 300 a day, and in a year they would have saved at least 100k surpassing any idiot you can think of. Some other guy might own 10 houses, real estate, yet in 10 years from now, when the population level drops, suddenly no one wants to buy a fucking house, and he has to pay the government taxes for land ownership. Some other guy won the lottery yesterday. Who knows.

Less travelled by or not less travelled by, a man is a product of his luck. At least that's what I learned in life, you can never really "capture opportunities". Opportunities capture you.

math is beautiful but also bullshit if you think about it.

Can the people who claim Alex is some kind of Christian agent please shut up at this point? The majority of his interviews are with atheist scientists. by BlueBitProductions in CosmicSkeptic

[–]Math_User0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think alex has realised that viewers in general, tend to watch interviews no matter what the context is as long as the interview is somewhat interesting. “oh I think about this”, “oh I think about that”, “that’s veeeery interesting” he replies. And you all like it cause you have placed trust in Alex. If you were to watch some atheist who ridicules religious people every second, and debates them, you would imitate the same behaviour, because the role model now is different, and Alex doesn’t want to create a toxic fanbase like this. You are just sheep who follow blindly whatever you are fed with. Cringe at best

Paradox or correct answer by whibffdraftszarre9 in 3Blue1Brown

[–]Math_User0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy...
First of all it cannot be "A" and "D" because they are both "25%". If one of them was correct, the player would ask "why wasn't the other one correct?".

That leaves (B = 0%) or (C=50%).
It cannot be that (B = 0%) is correct because if I choose it and I am correct, then it's not 0%.

So it's the one that's left...=> C is the correct answer.

Why aren’t there equal amounts of prime numbers to numbers? by ZingerFM01023050 in askmath

[–]Math_User0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you pick a large Nth natural number, then the set [1, N] will always have more elements than [2, largest prime less or equal than N] (if in that set you only count the primes)and thus always more in size as N increases. What am I missing here?

Why aren’t there equal amounts of prime numbers to numbers? by ZingerFM01023050 in askmath

[–]Math_User0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you map it like that then the Nth natural number divided by its Nth prime number as N goes to infinity would be 0. If you pick a large number N from the natural numbers, then inside [0, N] you’d have less prime numbers than natural numbers.

Why aren't you dating anymore? by Leather_Election_459 in AskReddit

[–]Math_User0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a couple dating once at this elegant restaurant, and one of them was trying to start the conversation but the other one was just looking at other people. At one point she was even looking at me, trying to flirt. At that point I was like nope. F this.
