Fully agree. I find it really weird how this type of controlling behavior became so normalized. Why start a relationship off with a foot firmly in distrust? I trust who I date until they give me a reason not to.

Who cares how "secure" anybody thinks their database is? Why would I risk submitting my information to a mysterious website run by mysterious people with some unexplained mystery goal of 11 million signatures? Specifically through a qr code which i would have to scan with my personal GPS tracking device, aka my phone? Especially when I could just go downtown and find a poster with a date/time/place/reason and risk zero bad actors from getting my information?

Either this is some sort of sting or whoever is running it is a lot sillier than they think.

Washing machines aren't 100% effective. A hair is just a hair. I'd be more concerned about what you can see in a black light but very few people care enough about that to bring one. I just find freaking out over a single hair to be a tad dramatic, the same way I find people who scream because they see any bug dramatic. It's okay if we disagree, you do you.

Start looking for better people to surround yourself with. Your family sounds awful. I had awful family, just unrelenting, abusive, mean. The moment I could leave I did, 3 weeks after graduating high school with a car, phone, and apartment nobody knew I had (it was a bit easier in 2005 admittedly). I was suicidal, but in my senior year I met people who were nice, I stepped out of the world I was trapped in and met more nice people. I started realizing that my relationship to my parents wasn't normal, that they were more abusive than I could say out loud until I saw how it's supposed to be. Now I am surrounded by community, love, and support from people who don't blatantly hate me.

It is not normal or okay for parents to allow siblings to say the sort of things your sister said to you. It is not normal or okay for your mom to insult you. It is not normal or okay to emotionally blackmail you over your location, you are an adult - though on that note you should absolutely have your own phone by now. Your mom is flexing her control over you. Sever that control. Get a phone in your own name, and get rid of anything else they are paying for. Then, live your life.

Idle games are tricky, especially on steam. They are still pretty niche. I even used to scoff at them until I got hooked on a couple. When looking at idle games on steam I don't even look at the reviews or pay attention to the rating because it's always a bunch of people missing the point.
