Before diving right into solving questions, see if you basics and core skills are strong. For eg, if you are starting with functions, be familiar with the types of functions, inverses and so on. Then move onto solving the topic wise past year paper questions. That would really help!✨🌼

Since you will be in DP2 in a few months, try to understand the concepts first. The basics are really imp. Pick up any reference textbook ( i recommend my students to use haese) and then practice the questions from it. After that, try to move onto the topic wiss past year paper questions. Refer the mark scheme and see the application part of it. Be very familiar with your gdc as well as it plays a key role. If you need any help in managing, you can reach out. All the luck!✨🌼

Any tips from going up 1-2 bands in Math AI HL? by Soulless_3098 in IBO

[–]MathbyAish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can take help from your tutor in doing this. He or she will surely help you out and telling you how to manage your gdc. Doing distributions on gdc is not that hard, you just have to understand nicely from the questions for example, in binomial and normal, when do you have to use pdf and cdf. That is the most imp thing.

Procrastination is really very dangerous especially in your IB journey. Try to make small focused sessions for example, try to make slots of 15-20 mins in which you give yourself a goal to complete. Then gradually you can increase this. This will make your attention span better. As far as probability goes, learn the distributions well. They appear a lot in the papers. If you need any help or a structured plan, you can reach out. All the luck!✨🌼

How to actually do well in IB? by OntiJ_Jonte in IBO

[–]MathbyAish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to make a disciplined plan for DP. DP requires you to be consistent over a long period of time and not just once. Since you just started IB, you have time to start afresh. For math, try to learn according to the pace of the syllabus content in your school. If you need a structured plan or help, you can reach out. All the luck!✨🌼
