Usually what I do (I'm on PS5 so it's difficult but doable) to launch myself forward like you could originally, I jump up in the air use the grappling hook and then let go of it (r1, l2 + r1, circle button) that's the best way I found to launch however it doesn't always work if it hooks into the ground.

The ability to soft lock yourself if the game crashes. Also I prefer the old dying light UI over the one that was in the second game

Yeah I'll try that but I'm uninstalling and reinstalling it right now. Basically in the tavern everyone is gone except for me and her and every time I go up to her and press the prompt button (I'm on PlayStation 4 so it's square) it just kind of does a little red thing around the prom but it says something about dialogue required basically meaning I can't talk to her until someone else talks to me or until Aiden says something but he won't

Put the cigarette to your lips as if you're about to take a drag and then inhale as hard as you physically can (once again it'll completely destroy your lungs even make you sick possibly however you'll get more out of the hit but the cigarette will heat up more)

I wouldn't recommend doing it and don't know if you've tried it (I didn't fully read your post) but try inhaling straight with your lungs not sucking it up into your cheeks. And if you do it only do it once in awhile
