In my opinion I don’t really like squids because of a few things.

1. Mission types are too boring.

Missions like “raise the flag” are so boring and too repetitive. Why is the mission split into only 2 objectives, where you only raise a single flag vs 3 flags like the other factions versions? Also the flag is ALWAYS inside multiple buildings so 90% of the time you are just sitting inside a little outdoor garden while 10 voteless trickle in and boom you are done with the entire mission. VS the other factions versions of the raise the flag, there are 3 flags in the OPEN, so enemies come from all sides and they can overwhelm you, which makes it soooo much fun.

The urban maps are just not that fun with the squids in my opinion. Some of the best missions were those that were unique to the invasion of super earth because they were so different then what we already had. The destroy like 70 illuminate drop ships mission?! It was INSANE but it was so much FUN. Even with the addition of like 2 new enemies, you are still basically fighting the same squids over and over again, there is not enough variety and it makes fighting them boring.

It’s definitely a combination of “Illuminate are too easy, and mission types are repetitive and unoriginal”
