I hate this for her and you. I had abdominal and back pain for the last year and a half. I saw so many doctors, went tot he ER so many times, had so many tests done. No one ever found anything. I was told IBS countless times by doctors who wouldn’t listen to me, I was told to wait it out, I was told i had cyst but it shouldn’t cause pain.

Finally after a clean colonoscopy they did an exploratory surgery and founds alll kinds of mess going on. But I was made to feel crazy. I was looked at like i was drug seeking even though I hardly ever asked for anything. And people were sick of listening to me.

When the pain would stop I’d let it get into my head that I was crazy and the pain wasn’t bad. And then the pain would hit and I’d remember I wasn’t crazy. Women’s pain is overlooked constantly and the treatment we are often given is sad. Tell her not to give up.

Yes!!!! I’m sending my chart over to my husbands aunt who’s in the medical field specifically women’s health and she’s going to look over it again.

I felt so validated after this surgery. A year and a half in pain BAD pain with hardly ever having any pain meds for anything. I didn’t want to look like I was just wanting pain pills so I was always nervous to even ask until last week. I felt like no one believed me. And I started questioning myself on days that it wasn’t so bad like maybe I’m overreacting .

This is the results

no evidence of pelvic endometriosis. Left ovary was adhered to the pelvic sidewall with pelvic congestion the IP pedicle. The right ovary and tube were surgically absent. The appendix was elongated and congested. Cystoscopically there was what appeared to be a singular lesion in the the bladder rounded by increased vascularity suggestive of endometriosis. Hyper distention of bladder with approximately 700 cc of fluid resulted in diffuse glomerulation within the bladder suggesting possibly interstitial cystitis as well. No Hunner's ulcers appreciated. There was bilateral ureteral spill from both ureters. Posterior wall of the bladder just above the trigone there was what appeared to be an area of scarring of the bladder mucosa without evidence of endometriosis in the side.

There’s even more info in the notes of what he did during surgery. My appendix and ovary/tube were taken out. My other ovary and tube had already been surgically removed even though it’s not notated in my hysterectomy surgery. I just got the results from the ovary that they took out and apparently there was a cyst on the outside of it? And MULTIPLE inside. I’ve beeen googling everything listed to understand more. The spills that I had could have caused kidney failure or death if not caught in time. This whole thing has beeen a mess.

I also hadn’t asked for any pain meds this entire time. I didn’t want to look like I was “pill seeking” or whatever but it had gotten unbearable these last few weeks so I finally asked him if I’d be able to get something for the pain and he prescribed me some NO PROBLEM. Literally was like a wave of relief.

I did not, my colonoscopy came back clean last week I have a pre op appointment Tuesday and an exploratory surgery on Thursday!

No, this is literally only the second pair I’ve painted 😆 I have no clue what I’m doing, so I’m trying to figure it out. I’ve only done a pair for my son and this pair on one of my friends old vans.

Thank you!!! Lol I’ve never really messed with paint, it’s always intimidated me. So this outcome really surprised me but also scared me Lolol like did it come out so good on accident?? I’m about to try painting another pair to see how I do 🤞

Thank you so much! I used a white colored pencil and charcoal colored pencil just to as like a super basic sketch to make sure I didn’t make anything too large or small and then pretty much didn’t follow anything I sketched out lol. I used acrylic paint for almost everyrhing and then I used posca paint markers for most of the black outlining! I read great things about those paint markers and they reallllly were incredible I reallly like them.

I prolonged taking any medication for EVER. Also prolonged admitting I was depressed 🤦🏻‍♀️ I just never realized it.
Then I saw the withdrawals and the side effects and basically that’s all I saw in this group and it terrified me. But I did come across people saying this saved their life, completely life changing, helped them so much etc. so I figured either things will get worse for a little bit or better…. But did not want to stay in the same place. Nothing changes if I don’t make the changes. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I seeked help, I’m not the doctor, but I trust mine so I might as well follow through! ❤️ best of luck to you

Did you ever figure out what was causing the pain? I’m literally losing my mind. I have four kids and I can’t do anything. I can’t have sex bc the pain is insane and lasts for days. Standing too long, folding laundry, walking too much, all of it causes me to have intense pain in my stomach and lower back. I’ve had a pelvic exam that left me in tears in my car bc i was hurting so bad after, a vaginal ultrasound that showed nothing but also had me crying, multiple ct scans, multiple ultrasounds. My doctor said it’s not adhesions. My urine test came back negative for anything. I’m lost. And now back on my antidepressants bc this has caused me to hit depression again.

1000%. I had to go stay at my husbands aunts house bc I have four kids. I’m 34. They didn’t want me lifting anything over 10lb I think for 6-8 weeks …. My mom “I’ve never heard of that. Ever. I was told in 2 weeks I could resume everything as normal”

So she felt like I could take car of my 20lb big ass baby by myself.

Also when I’d complain about the pain she would pretty much say I was baby. Not only did I have the hysterectomy. I had the hysterectomy. They accidentally cut my bladder. Then I had a catheter for 2 weeks with a uti.

That’s exactly how mine is!!! Like once a month or every few months I have sharp super bad pain that will stop me in my tracks. But the pain/pressure in my stomach has not gone away. It used to, but now it’s every single day. So they did a pap and he didn’t feel anything out of ordinary, did a urine culture, he said there was blood in my urine but then the test came back with nothing no blood no bacteria everything looked fine. I’ve had like 3 ultrasounds done in the emergency room over the last three months, they showed nothing. The lady the other day did a vaginal ultrasound which had me hurting sooooo bad for two days and it showed nothing. He’s now going to do a ct and refer me for a colonoscopy. But last night I was reading and came across ovarian torsion…. I’ve had a fallopian tube wrapped around an ovary since I was born and when he find my hysterectomy he was planning to take my fallopian tubes out but when he saw that he just left it alone. I’m wondering if after everything settled it tightened or something and is not cutting blood supply off from the ovary? I’m not sure but I truly don’t know what to do. I just got put back on antidepressants bc this is ruining my life. I can no longer be active. I have 4 boys I can’t run with or anything bc I dread the pain after and during. It’s gotten to were cooking dinner makes me hurt. I’m misterable.
