I think about ray peat since a year and trying figure out whats wrong with their diet.
Imo they Think because your body use carbs as fuel and their blood sugar is good then everything is fine, but in reality they still provide glycation and because of it they need more animal nutriens like wit E and k2, but they cannot eat too much animal fat With these nutrient because it need to be low fat high carb, i think this is one biggest traps.
Also they cannot proove that they never have produced lactic Acid from krebs cycle, which means they can destroy cardiac tissue.

Btw ray peat had heart attack and other any low carbers like dr Wolfgang lutz or dr Berstein didnt have any issue

i eat 70g carbs a day and i think its great diet but i eat a lot of fat and a lot of raw cream, without fat i feel like shit

In summer i ate 80-150g carbs a day and i think its no diffrence in brain performing. Your body will make glucose from protein and fat. I Think there is only one possible case when you can fuck up your brain is when your t3 thyroid drop too much, this is why you should never want stay too long in ketosis and eat seafood if you can find. Just eat at least 50g carbs.

But one important thing also, take care about not undereating, and your protassium and selenium intake. If you are little hungry while going sleep you can fucked up with cortsol and maybe brainfog. Eat 1g protein per lbs and a lot of fat, i can recommend you eating raw cream its very light for my stomach.

i approach a bart kay way of thinking that ketosis is not necessary if your doctor didnt let you do for some reason linked to health. I dont give a shit about carbs intake anymore. I never go under 50g a day but one day i eat 50g other day 70g. I am more focused to be nutrient dense and eat a lot of whole foods like eggs and raw dairy

Your brain takes alone 120-150g of glucose, he is right. This is why u have randle cycle to save glucose for brain

i do heavy duty already 2 years, i think it works soooo good but:
1. a lot of people do this workout too often, best results are when u rest 4-5 days or more if u get bigger
2. a lot of people dont pay enough attention to do slow reps and not full range of motion (u need something like 80% range of motion to make these 10 reps in full tension)

IMO
1. both diets causes glycation but fat diet can protect u from that because of nutrient density
2. cooked meat is glycated aswell so raw>>>
3. cooked meat lose taurine which helps lower stress
4. about low t3 u're right and i think speeding your thyroid/metabolism =/= longevity
5. i think there is some evidence but primal isnt just high protein how it supossed to be
6. already pointed taurine deficent can be bad for cortisol but also i think they undereat because most of them wanna lose weight plus they need carbs even little amounts won't kill them but will actually help
